the PSO isn't, they are still equiped with the same 1300hp engine, the AMV is the one equiped with the 1500hp engine

The forum can also say the ariete has better armor than the M1A2 and it won't be true, the new engine was supposed to be fitted on the now cancelled C2 ariete, after that all upgrades got applied to the current models with the pso and war kits, and only the AMV is fitted with the newer 1500hp engine, no such thing as a 1600hp engine on an ariete exists

Id like to point out something more outrageous than the YS being at 9.7; The G.91 R/1 is at the same BR as the G.91 R/4. The R/1 gets AS-20s and only 2 of them, whilst the R/4 gets 4 AIM-9Bs or 4 AS-20s. AND the R/4 gets 4 M3 .50 cals with those AIM-9Bs. Mainly because the R/4 is a premium and expensive. very fun gaijin, very fun

The R/4 in the Italian tree is a Portuguese modification which was equipped with Sidewinders. The German R/4 having Sidewinders is ahistorical.

It’s not because it’s expensive that they give it an advantage. It’s because the new players buy a top tier premium, play like total apes and lower it’s K/D and W/L ratios, and then Gaijin, who balance vehicles based entirely on their player stats bump it down to lower and lower BRs. p.s. pretty much the same applies to all the high tier premiums and the entire German tech tree xdlmao

As an Italian main, my First Nation and only top tier, air and ground. I’m sad gaijin neglects Italian players, the tanks and the planes. Hopefully they add sub trees like Brazil or Hungary in the future. I’m hoping for the B2 Centauro.

@@Chronesys maybe not at top tier, but at 3.3, 3.7, 6.3, 7.7 (and 10.0 too cuz of the Ariete (p), my beloved) its one of the best imo, also if Gaijin gave attention to Italy, it would be much more competitive, i wish they would add the A-11 ACOL for CAS for example

Italy is now completing the Ariete AMV project (Ammodernamento Mezza Vita- Mid Life Upgrade). The Ariete recived a new 1500 horse power V12 engine and a new aiming device, so maybe Gaijin could add the Ariete AMV as the top tier variant of the tank.

-The AMV program has been renamed "Ariete C2 program". The improvements of the C2 Ariete program are: 1) 3rd generation optics for commander and gunner. 2) Combined WAR armor and new PSO armor(and not like the old prototype of the PSO used in Iraq 20 years ago). 3) 1500hp engine 4) New transmission and tracks 5) Turret cal. 50 remote 6) APS system(possibly visible in the 3rd prototype of the C2 Ariete, otherwise it will be installed in a separate program). 7) GPS and C2N/BFSA capability. 8) New Smoke Grenades. 9) New Tracks 10) Jammer Guardian H3(C-IED) 11) New ballistic shooting calculator 12) Driver's cameras. 13) 100% electronic turret rotation system(more safety for the crew). 14) 120/L45 Cannon of the Centauro B2(There is a good chance it will be installed).

that's the issue, they can't, the best thing italy can get besides some variants of tanks they already have is the AMX intl AMX for a ground pounding, besides that italy is screwed in ground

It's very sad that the only top-tier MBT Italy could possibly get at this point (unless Minor Axis goes to ridiculous levels) would be the Ariete AMV, which is still a prototype last time I checked. We do have a few high-tier MBTs left like the Leone and OF-40 variants, and some top-tier auxiliary vehicles like the Centauro II and Draco, not to mention the Freccia which could have Spikes. Here's hoping Italy blossoms at some point, but it doesn't look good right now.

It's pretty simple, gaijin just has to stop fucking italy in the arse for no reason and give them decent composite armour, and fix their stupid formula they used to calculate solid shot AP pen because it doesn't account for density which artificially nerfs CL3143/M322.

@@Chronesys Ariete already has second generation thermals, if the Centauro II is somehow better that wouldn't be too big of an increase. Yeah, it probably would be. That exists only as a very limited test bed for the turret, not as a production vehicle meant to go into service.

The reduction in pen for CL3143 wasnt accompanied by a BR decrease. Ariete was 11.0 for maybe one br change cycle but then it went back down to one notch below absolute top tier (they were 10.3 when 10.7 was the top br). Point being gaijin wouldnt ever be so kind as to compensate the arietes with a buff to compensate for their (admittedly historically accurate) nerf

Justin, I like the variety of other vehicles with a focus on the one like you did with this video. make'em long videos if you have to, I've got no problems with longer videos. yeah, as long as Russia mains get the E-Z mode I'm giving them NO SLACK at ALL! The ammo that doesn't explode, the KA-50 spam, the TURMS spam that is far too survivable, 2S6's that are ADATS on STEROIDS...done with handling them with kid gloves. Spawn camping them, just like they will me if they're teamed up with the Germans within 2 minutes, at all times for no reason at all.

The russian top tier is absolutely dominating most of the time with varieties of backups including most OP SPAA 2S6, strike aircraft MIG27K, KA-50/52 and MI28s. Also, the damage model is weird on the tanks such as only driver killed by suffering a lower front shot, volumetric ERA eating APFSDS especially relikts and ammunition explodes but didn't destroy the tank or even any parts. These problems are here for years but gaijin doesn't seems the have any plannings to fix any issues. Instead more and more russian top dog vehicles are introduced in each update.

1:26 why use the PSO when you have this thing People always say in WT "tank A or Tank B they're so similar". Here is a fucking random idea bring both. Its not air RB you can bring more than one vehicle. If both are so good having a spear means you don't need backups, and if you use back ups Great now you have 4 spawns
