This is definitely of the best kpop girl group releases in 2022!

Love Dive was like a cultural reset among kpop stan it blew up very quickly because of the addictive ooooooh part. Also the visuals for this song are mind blowing, and the girls are honestly beautiful. The group, when they made their debut earlier this year, got popular pretty quickly as well, first of all because 2 of the members were part of another group Iz*One but also because all the members were able to showcase their ability pretty well. Their producers are also to thank for their success because these musics are great. Also this year was like THE year of kpop girl groups debuting which makes gaining attention very difficult, the other kpop girl groups who debuted this year and are very popular are: LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, Kep1er, NMixx, Got The Beat (idk if we can consider this a debut but still) and that's it. When like maybe 20 girl groups made their debut, and 20 male groups as well... So this is how much IVE is popular.

I'm not sure but I think this song is a reference to the Narcissus myth in Greek mythology It's basically the story of a man who is so beautiful that when he sees his reflection in a lake, he falls in love with it But because he wanted to grab it he falls in the lake and dies drowning That would explain the lyrics 'Narcissistic my god I love it' and 'Hold your breath love dive' (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

Ive concept from their songs is narcissism,this song and mv is related to the greek myth narcissus who fell in love with his own reflection in the water because of cupid's arrow and died when he dived to get with his reflection, that's why there all these arrow, wings in the mv and the lyrics like "hold your breath, love dive" and "narcissistic my god i love it"

the ooooh's part is so hypnotizing😭 but you should definitely listen to their debut song "Eleven" and the rest of their bsides!!

Its crazy how the 'IZ*ONE' dna is in so many successful girl groups in 2022. Wonyoung & Yujin in IVE and Sakura & Chaewon in Le Sserafim. Plus solo acts YENA, Jo Yuri, Eunbi & Chaeyeon. The power of IZ*ONE as one group of superstars was too much for the world to handle so they splintered into wonderful separate units. All making a name for themselves as leaders in the 4th generation of KPOP. Lets go girls.

I could be wrong but they do have a theme in all their songs...LOVE!!! ELEVEN was about love and how someone makes them feel 11 from 1 to 10 so thats how much their love or crush was. LOVE DIVE they are playing cupid and love everywhere. AFTER LIKE is them letting their crush know that once they like each other Love comes after. So....yeah i think they do have a heavy LOVE and falling in love theme. Lol (just my opinion though dont come for me) :)
