Thank you for joining me to explore the many ways to use a chair in yoga practice. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section. Happy practicing! :-)
Hi David, nice to connect online! Happy you found me here. Lovely to hear this class was useful for your stiffness. The chair is a big benifit when used properly. Are you still in HK? Studying at the studio? 🙏🏻
Hi Suzie, glad you found me. Hoping to spread the power and knowledge of Yoga and the multifaceted benefits to more around the world. One class at a time…….. Namaste, K
Petra, these were just a few small examples of the possibilities. There will be a few more sessions on the chair as we go. Enjoy your practice and stay curious!😊

Just got a chair and bolster so this was a blessing this morning. Thank you! I will be returning to this video again. Do you host any yoga retreats Kathy?
Congratulations Chand! This will open so many possibilities for you. Chand, there is nothing planned this year but probably next year. Where are you located? Enjoy your practice! 🙏🏻
thank you for this video. I got a yoga chair for christmas. I had some injuries, so flexibility is currently restricted. Floor work is very awkward. Chair really helped. :-)
whenever we use the chair we can hold poses longer so the benefits are more quieting and more fully absorbed to each cell. The sequence created length and space in the trunk and the abdominal area, with the twisting stimulation in the stomach, great for digestion, strengthen of the abdominal organs, length through the hamstrings, great for back tone and release as well as being restorative due to head resting and heart being inverted. Thanks for going me. Namaste
Hi Kathyji, in the pointime 32:06 related dandasana posture "Dandasana from chair, arms backward on seat" means chair in behind of the back ? Thank you !
Anh, dandasana with the chair - arms moving forward to hold the rail, create length, maintain, then move hands to seat and finally crossing the arms rest the head. Thanks for your keen awareness to details. I hope I answered your question. Namaste, Kathy
