@@robiihsan4788 Actually, I was referring to the matchup in Dissidia 12. Vaan's options literally invalidate a lot of Mateus's option that force Emperor out of the comfort zone. One of them was the Crossbow machine gun move that literally made Emperor a sitting duck. Just like how Jack Garland did to Mateus in this video.

I wonder how this matchup would be after the emperor sold his soul to satan, or even after he split in two? He seemed a lot more powerful then after his death. This dlc seems to indicate he could power up before his death and take on a form similar to the much larger Dark half of his Soul.

@@nate6045 If you go to watch the live stream before this DLC was released, which includes the producer from Team Ninja and also ur man Nomura-san, they had a profound meaning but ambiguous conversation about their further collaboration. Maybe the SOP2, perhaps something related to DissidiaNT, who knows.

@@nate6045 I really think there's a 'chance' of a sequel at least, nothing really confirmed beyond Nomura leaving the door open for it. There was a really recent interview where he said, that if SoP of paradise is popular enough there could be a second game.

@@peebs4421 From how the DLC is handled, I doubt it. Look I'm all for SoP getting a sequel so they can learn not to just increase the game's difficulty with a new difficulty mode every DLC. The base game you only learn how to play the game, then Hard Mode was still easy, then Chaos mode was the real fun treat though I didn't play it due to not having figured out my build. Then Bahamut Mode comes out and it throws a wrench in everyone's face and pulls out a middle finger. I could be REALLY high, MAXED even, in item level and Job level after Gilgamesh mode and I return to Bahamut Mode to finish out some side missions and I get one shotted by bosses or enemies just because the difficulty is designed for us to just cheese every enemy with like spamming spells or the funny move. After the Chaosbringer was nerfed to the ground after 3 dlc releases, I do not trust the rating of the "fun" in the new dlc. I tried playing with my friends and everyone agrees the difficulty spike was not handled correct here. Long story short: SoP2 needs to follow the Nioh route and just have the difficulty spike be the treat for players and not the main gimmick of the game. It was fun figuring out the moves of bosses, jobs that work well together, and grinding for gear if it wasn't so frustratingly bullshit in how much damage they do to you regardless of the equipment/job levels in the DLC. There's a reason you just see people show off their impressive builds after infinite amount of grinding HOURS to show you how much damage they do to a boss. And even then the video is like 3 or 4 mins long. No. I'm tired.

I think Sephiroth is hot as well but he's never my type and I find him annoying so I outright deny him. I just think Jack Garland is neat. All of his combat line are from Dissidia NT, so does Warrior of Light. And I'm pretty sure Gilgamesh has his 10 years old voice line from Dissidia 012.

The Garland in FF9 is a different one from the FF1 version. Not the same character.

Sephiroth would slice Garland back to 8 bits, Square views Sephiroth as their darth vader and big badass villain, its blasphemy to think they would make unga bunga white guy villain beat seph.
