Jack Lord will always be the one, and only Steve McGarrett. I grew up with him playing the Chief of Five-O. Jack Lord was very generous to the Hawaiian Islands, giving his, and his wife, Marie’s entire fortune to help the Islands that they both loved so much. Thank you for your goodness, and Rest In Peace, Jack Lord.

i was a little child in 1971, when hawaii five-o aired for the first in italy. i watch on tv and grew up with. I learn to love Hawaii and of course admire Steve Mcgarrett a lot. Think that Mr. Harmon's L.J. Gibbs owes a lot to Steve McGarrett, his sense of justice, care for the victim, empathy and even rigor.

I agree with everyone....There is only Five-0 force and that is the originals. Sorry new series. I did give it a chance. But the storylines bothered me. It isn't the same. My heart belongs to the original. Thank you Jack, James, Zulu, Kam, Al, Herman, Richard, Al Eben, Glenn and all of the rest of the cast that we all love and respect so much. If they all could only see the state in how it has changed. And in part, it is thanks to them. They along with Leonard Freeman brought the state of Hawaii to the attention of the world.
