It’s interesting to see another mk3 taken out on track and hearing you comment on all the things I like about mine, like sharp turn in, the stiffness of the chassis, etc. mine is a vr6 though so the front ends weight distribution is not as good.
Also, the shift box mounted on top of the tunnel is an idea id tossed around when I swapped in my 02j shifter. Ended up mounting it in the stock location because I wanted to keep the center console. Good to see that it works the way I’d envisioned it.

Comme la mienne une 1L8 8s que j ai passer en 16s en changeant la culasse le moteur mk2 1800 cc 16 s marcher deja bien je me suis dit que la culasse 16s permette plus de puissance la 16s marche mieux a mon avis que la 8s le 1L8 que j ai realeser jusqu a 1L995 pas 2L mais presque bha la ca envoie severe 😜👍🤘👉😎
