Nah, Jackson stock pickups are great. What is really bad is the stock shecter pickups.

@@metalhead8338 Indeed .. also had once a schecter couple years ago, returned it the next day. The jackson pickups sound not bad in this video, just a matter of how the sound is set up. I saw another video where it sounded killer. I you want to try something different check the Cort Kx 307 ms. I was blown away by this guitar and stock pickups. But yeah it"s all a matter of taste.

​@@metalhead8338 Yes .. but it is very versatile because of the (25.5” - 27”) Multi-Scale if you want to churn big or simple chords out in a flexible way. I bought one 2 days ago, arrived in good condition. It"s a tank .. tuned the low B string one step down to drop A. Sounded very explosive to my ears. The PowerBar pickups are designed to ensure even and balanced output across all seven strings while boasting explosive high output that’s most suited for modern extreme music. Haha couldn"t stop playing, the high strings give a pleasant melodic and mysterious tiny metallic sound due to that even and balanced output. But it depends what real amp or simulation you will use what sort of sound is coming out of it. I used the Neural Dsp Gojira plugin and also fiddled a bit with Thu Overloud.
