This Harden stuff is why I never argue with people about basketball...I told people who he and Westbrook were from the jump and people argued...the new Kobe and Shaq this and that....🤣 Ok. Pro tip: People are who you think they are... AD is soft, Russ a stat machine, Harden, a flashy choker, Kyrie a headcase, KD, another softie....The stat era is dying....Luka statistically is looking like the GOAT, but if you've ever played before (and you're not simple) you know he's not actually there

All of these crazy "explanations" when the fact is that Harden is 32 and spent a lot of the last dozen years partying. Instead of taking good care of his body. Harden was masterful at manufacturing fouls against himself and that forced defenders to give him space before they changed the rules. But now defenders can guard Harden properly, and he is slow both in first step and shot, leading to Harden being the most blocked volume shooter in the NBA this year. Occam's Razor: Harden played poorly because he is not a great basketball player today.

I think Hardens confidence is surprisingly fragile for a scorer of his caliber. Always looked like he has the tools to be a capable (or at least decent) defender, but doesn't put in the effort - like he'd rather ("not") fail by not even trying, than staying locked in and getting outplayed. And now his exploitation of getting foul-calls finally caught up with him on offense, because refs don't call his flailing head-bop drive or three-fall anymore and that just makes him look very silly while missing shots or turning it over. I honestly think he'd rather look like he's not even trying rather than putting up a fight and being defeated.

But if embiid was actually meant to be mvp then he would quit acting like his small injures were the end of the world and dropped 40. It seems like James Harden is never happy. He had a good thing in OKC with Durant and Westbrook, but he gets traded to Houston after underperforming in the Finals. Then he proceeds to force Houston to trade Dwight, CP3 and Westbrook in succession after numerous playoff failures, and he eventually forces a trade to Brooklyn by showing up out of shape. Then he’s no longer happy playing with Kyrie and Durant after another playoff failure, and again forces a trade but this time to Philadelphia. Once again, he’s playing with another elite talent in Embiid, and he again underperforms in the playoffs and loses. I, for one, am sick of all the excuses.

He didn't force a trade out of OKC. Sam Prestie the GM had to trade one of the three because of salary cap issues, and harden was the odd man out. In hindsight they should of traded russ and kept KD and harden. Perhaps they would of won a championship and Harden's legacy would be different

Harden is one of the most entitled and unprofessional stars I have seen during my time watching the NBA. To do these kind of things to the organizations that put their faith in you, pay you big money, trade away many of their players for you (philly), get the players/coach that you want (houston) is just disgusting. I really wish that he faces some sort of repercussion for this. This is not fair at all towards those organizations.
