+PolarisT wait until some self hating american Incels who call themselves as MGTOW to come up and say some bullshit like "Things aren't always what they seem to be 😊😉 "
Soleil Schuddinck your crude attempts of explaining what is correct and what is incorrect is unfortunately a waste of your (apparently) not so precious time. It means nothing to us as people and I’m sure everyone else will agree.
@Soleil Schuddinck i don't have written this. My girlfriend was using my RU-vid so may be she wrote it. I don't insult people no matter what. I don't know what she found in this video that she wrote it i don't even have saw this. So i think peace out.. Matter closed.
+Angel Barron You make the food at night. If you pack a lunch while it is still hot, it will make it go bad quickly. It's best to leave it in the fridge overnight! ALSO: When you're packing hot food, leave it in the fridge to cool before putting a lid on it - this also helps it to not go bad. : )
Japanese food appeals to all the senses. We eat with our eyes before we eat with our stomach. If only school lunches looked this appetizing. Very delicious!
Just watching you cook and eat bento makes me want to start fresh in Japan! Totally in love with the food/culture/ethics about you people! Keep up the videos
@@TheCaptainKim their ethnics could be debatable because of societys tendency of sexism or discrimination towards foreigners. but nit ww2. I am german and man I appologies for ww2 but it's 2018 I am half spanish please forgive me and lets be friends and move on! or at least don't make me responsible for what happened I wasn't born yet...
@@icansurviveuniversity.imra1405 Man, I hope you stopped being a self hating German who thinks we need to apologise for things we didn't do during the last two years. Seriously, how pathetic can you be, gosh. Besides, every country has debatable ethics, people here just seem to have a typical western smartass coloniser mindset.
One thing i do for packing my school lunches is to ask my mom to cook more food at dinnertime so i can heat it up next morning and bring it to school. You can try this method too!
I made lunches for hubby for years and now he's retired but that doesnt stop me from making bento lunches once in a while and go on picnics! My children loved their bento lunches as well....your bento lunchboxes are wonderfully picturesque and scrumptious!
So true. I moved back to the US as a teen in the early 90's and school lunches were appalling. It was the first time I knew kids didn't eat fruit and veggies.
No idea what the average US lunch looks like but with two fried items and a lot of added salt and sugar maybe not as healthy as you'd think. Still looks delicious though.
I can survive university. I'm Rachel! Not really. It's a nutritious meal. I mean we consume so much sugar without realising it anyway so better eat a good meal without the hidden sugar.
Well, bento actually isn't hard to prepare at all, you can make ones just like these in about 20 minutes. You can easily cook the peppers and keep them separate from the chicken, steam rice in advance, boil and drain spinach, etc. I pack bento for myself and my boyfriend every day for lunch and it takes maybe 15 minutes in the morning to do both.
I absolutely love this I wish we took BART care about lunches like that over here in the US I do because I cook but absolutely beautiful I love the way you put everything together also definitely enjoy watching your videos
It's amazing how you can fit so much food in a small box and have time to cook such a healthy delicious meal for yourself and love ones. All I can ever do is make a simple sandwich, get water and a couple of fruits and veggies and be on my way to the bus And how you can make everything with chop sticks too! Amazing job 👏
I just love all of your videos! I'm Hungarian, and I cook every day for my family. I do all kind of food (Italian, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, American) /and of course Hungarian/. Right now I'm trying to learn how to make bento boxes, and your videos are really helpful! Thank you!! Do you cook for your family other nations' food too, or just Japanese?
It looks delicious, but takes too much time to make. It is a pity I don't have that much time to make this sophisticated dishes. I get up at 5 am and I am back home at 7.30 pm. Tired. And I go to bed early, at 9.30 pm. So I have just 2 hours just for myself and especially for my two kids each day. No time to cook.
+agnesdeque Thank you for watching a video :-)The pickles is called "FUKUJINZUKE".sliced vegetables pickled in soy sauce(a slightly sweet mix of pickles)
My future husband/wife is gonna be one lucky person... I enjoy cooking, cleaning, organizing, gardening, sewing, and basically every other house-hold related chore XD (thnx mom and dad for making me do everything around the house and now i actually find it fun/therapeutic).
I really appreciate this amazing demonstration of how to put all these ingredients together - so healthy, so colourful - thx for sharing - cheers from Canada
+Tundravalco1 so it isn't. I also said "looks" haha it's fine though I was well aware that there was a lot of sugar added. thanks for mentioning though!
Where was the "lots of sugar and saturated fat"? I saw sugar added to the beans, egg rolls, & chicken/veg sauce (not a substantial amount compared to all the hidden sugar in western food), and really no saturated fat. The chicken was lean skinless breast cooked in vegetable oil, and the amount of protein and vitamins in all the dark green & red vegetables, seaweed & legumes, more than compensates for the sugar added to some small components in my opinion. This would be considered a balanced and healthy lunch by most dieticians, particularly if the rice box shown only in the last clip was omitted/reduced.
delicioso exquisito lo preparare en mi casa aunque eso de Katsuobush o bonito no creo que lo vendan en mi país - exquisite delicious I prepare at home but that of Katsuobush or bonito not think they sell in my country
A lot of prep work goes into this. I live in the United States, where no one would EVER put this much effort into their school lunch. If only more kids ate a nice healthy lunch like this.
This looks really delicious, but I don't think I can make the effort to cook so many dishes every day for my own lunch. I'm really impressed by the variety of things Japanese people put in bento boxes. It seems like so much work for portions that come out so small.
I love bento! It is just so child-like but also everything is packed with so much care and love! You put a lot of effort into it an d that makes it special! Beautiful!
DBZ1FAN1GIRL most of it can be consumed at room temp. It’s arranged to be eaten the same day it’s made so that it can be kept at room temp til dinner bell.
