I love when Japanese people come to morocco , they are soo kind and lovely people , please come back again , you are welcome any time 🇲🇦✨ hajime mashite george
Soggy rice makes me cry, but that sushi pizza looked good! 😅 I'm still finding the moroccan people so friendly, it's so nice to see that! Safe travels!
Not true , i'm moroccan I don't like it when the rice is sticky and soggy, it means it's overcooked and kinda annoying to eat , plus there's nothing called moroccan japenese sushi when we don't even know how real sushi is supposed to taste
If an Italian tried pizza in a diff country and thought it was lacking, I would think that would mean something considering they’re from where it originated. Soggy rice may be what some of y’all like but that doesn’t make it *good* in sushi. 🤷♀️ George probably wasn’t tryna suggest y’all can’t like what you like outside of objectives, but if you don’t follow traditional practices for dishes from other countries, expect some criticism from their citizens. Cuz it’s *their* sh!t.
Welcome to morocco When i see or watch someone korean or japanese come to morocco to try the moroccan food i have a nice day morocco is the best of the best country in the world
I had a similar experience where the rice either soggy or too sweet/sour. I would recommend iloli restaurant is one of the best and it’s run by a certified Japanese chef. They preserve the original flavors
Where is the Pastilla?? You must try that before you leave Morocco.. its so unique and delicious! Look it up online so you can see how interesting it is. Were you missing Japan when you ordered the sushi?
@@GeorgeJapan Ok terrific! I can't wait to see a video about this!! When I used to travel all over the globe I did get really lonely and missed home from time to time. Travel isn't always glamorous but it is always a life/mind changing experience if we are open to it. good for you for doing this!
3:26 “Sushi pizza is so good…what a combination! I’m pretty sure you can never see this in Japan. I have never seen this in Japan.” Now you will, George.
I wanted to see how they make sushi there in Morrocco, George. Thanks. I've never eaten sushi with fish eggs on top. That sushi pizza also looked delicious. I loved the dance music in the background! 😎That ice cream at the end, I was rooting for you to go with the Snickers one. :) Safe travels.
George, I got to the channel much later, and I didn't see if you commented on this: did you take a course or college in gastronomy? I find it amazing how sensitive your palate is to identify seasonings and ingredients
After finishing your world tour I’d like to see a video ranking the Japanese restaurants outside Japan… Curious to see if the Brazilians get a top 10 position 😅
Hi,have fun in Marrakech.I recommend you to try to stay in a Ryiyad it is mush better than normal hotel , and I reccomen you to try local food like *Tanjiya,Couscouss,Pastilla,Tajine,Reffissa... And for places * Jaame lfna,Jardin Majorelle, Palácio da Bahia... and if you like you to go outsid the city go to Agfay sahara ,Ourika Valley, Montagne oukaimede... +Enjoy your time .
Omg! I don't think we have that Sushi Pizza here in Brazil, it looks so good! PS: I HAD to eat fast food the other day 🤣 I went to McDonald's after my night out 🤣
Japanese restaurant has become fashion in my city. I wonder if it is the same everywhere. Sushi with avocado and Sushi Pizza are new to me. Looks yummy! 😋😋
That scene will pop up in George's mind instantly. 🍣+🍓 We only have it here in Brazil. ;) We Brazilians always like to reinvent the wheel. I saw a video here on RU-vid where a Japanese master sushi chef makes sweet sushi with strawberries too. We're not the only ones who make it. I'll definitely go to that place to try that strawberry sushi here in Brazil someday.
It all goes back to the “California roll” (cucumber, crab or imitation crab, and avocado) invented somewhere on the West Coast (Los Angeles or Vancouver) in the 1960s or 1970s. Now you can find the California roll in Tokyo-I’m not sure if that counts as “authentic” Japanese sushi or not. (It’s in Japan and it’s sushi so…)
I need sushis right now because of you George 🤤🤤🤤😂😂😂 Thanks for the video, I looking forward to see Marrakech, it's a famous city in Marocco for the markets.
Safe Travels George! Looking forward to the next adventure! I'm so surprised they did such a good sushi pizza that looked good too; American version is definitely a no-go lol
Hi George, Happy you enjoyed Moroccan sushi :) but that was not exactly the best sushi place in casablanca . Proof is the soggy rice. We have better sushi restaurants; I guess you enjoyed Morocco food better :) Thank you for showing such a positive and nice image of Morocco . Arigato gozaimasu
One advice in Marrakech don't eat food in old madina it's not good and expensive try gueliz or another neighbor but the madina it's just full of hustler
am moroccan and fully agree with you, I paid over 700DH for dishes I could have paid less than 100DH elsewhere..let's not talk about the Taxi drivers and their greed to make undeserved money..time clean up Marrakech .. c'est plutôt Arnaquesh🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sushi pizza... so interesting! The sushi looked so delicious. Too bad about the rice. I don't care for cream cheese in my rolls, but otherwise everything looked so good and fresh.Thank you for your Casablanca sushi experience with ice cream dessert ending!
@@GeorgeJapan Well cooked rice really does make the meal. Properly cooked rice is kind of an art form, too! Sushi and most Japanese food requires nicely cooked, high quality rice or it's sad.
Hi George, I am from Morocco and I am just wondering why did you take an airplane to travel from Casablanca to Marrakech it is so expensive. You had to take a train instead.
@@GeorgeJapan you are welcome at any time i hope you enjoyed your trip to morocco (sorry , i'm not so good at english and i'm actually learning both english and japanese at the same time😅😁)
Be careful Marrakech do have scammers/hustlers. Be aware of that. Do your research. Best cities for tourists are in North Morocco, more relaxed atmosphere.
I love all your videos👍🥰I'm Japanese 🇯🇵Moroccan 🇲🇦I'm now in Morocco ( Tetouan City) if you didn't yet visited Tetouan don't hesitate. Different culture, different people and different paysage 👍I wish you all the best
Hi George I am one of your subscribers and I am Indian and Asian too 🇮🇳🇬🇧 And in any change if you come to uk then I hope you will like itsu and wagamama these are the best Japanese restaurants ever I like Wagamama more and it’s Japanese Katsu curry
@@GeorgeJapan this place is a joke ! Very far from being the best sushi’s in Casablanca ! I never heard of it 10 years in Casablanca ! Iloli is owned by a Japanese chef it’s succulent and the rice is never saggy there ! They have the best ramen in the whole continent ! 🙏🏽🥰
