I would love if this channel labeled the parts it's removing for cooking during the dissection process and labeled the names of dishes. Many of these creatures and dishes are things I'll never see in person and it's so cool to learn.
My thoughts exactly. What are humans gonna do when aliens show up wanting to harvest us so we can be thawed out and sliced up for dinner at their leisure. Maybe our brains are delicacies to them. Maybe they eat our brains like jam?
Holy moly that is one HUGE cuttlefish! What an utter pro! Being able to remove the ink sack without breaking it. The last time I went fishing and caught a squid, I broke that sack and the ink went everywhere.
MrDanish ButterCookie, yes you are right it is the cuttlebone or some call it a “keel” bone, like the keel or bottom of a ship! In the smaller squids the cuttlebone is transparent like glass!! Thanks for pointing that out!! Good fact!!🤗
I don't know why squid/cuttlefish hasn't caught on more in the western world. No bones, no fat, just white and uniform. It's the boneless skinless chicken breast of the sea.
Possibly because cuttlefish are not naturally found around Americas at all, but they are popular in Western Europe and the Mediterranean where can be found fresh and kicking.
Are you talking about the giant squids in outer space then the green one gets eaten by a black hole whale then the girl one has to go to earth to give birth to the eggs then the general of nowhere shows up and true to study the pick giant squid and the babies?

Certainly is a lot of work to clean that thing . This is one of those dinners that you need to order in advance it takes so long for the preparation of this thing I wonder if you can grill those pieces of cuddle fish? Ok...soooo....the thumbnail....nearly crushed vid for me...but that's just me. Squid absolutely rocked right up to the black ink! I dunno man, I grew up with it...octopus as well....must just be the color right lol. Anyhow...thanks so much for sharing. I still give a great big thumbs up :)
i tried squid ink pasta before. it good. kinda curious though, r the eggs and eyes edible too. what bout the squid guts. i heard bout people fermenting them to make appetizer dishes in izakayas.
