Cycle 15 is such a STRONG cycle...this and 16. It levelled up to Euro versions of Next Top Model. Ann Ward was out of this world. As for the ratings, I feel that the show's just run its course. But the quality of the girls in 15 is legit.
Cycle 15 was the best cycle in my opinion. The contestants were the most modelesque. A lot of the shoots were the most high fashion. The photographers, designers and the prizes were the most legit. That was the best final runway IMO.
Chelsea is SO classy. She makes sure not to bash anyone and seems to truly listen to Jay and make him feel appreciated for the work he has done. Love this Jay chat! 😍
For me, Ann represents an unusual beauty that is seen more in high fashion photoshoots today whereas Chelsey had an A-typical look of the stereotypical blonde hair, blue-eyed woman. Thus, I do see why Ann was declared the winner of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 15. Plus, she had six top photos of the week, a striking Covergirl photo and she had an editorial look for Vogue Italia’s magazine.
Chelsey was very unique looking though, she had pretty freckles and a masculine kind of look to her. Also Ann's best photos were due to favoritism and a floating head for a cg photo isn't that great. Ann's walk was sooooo bad too.

@@dumbb6178 You have to recognize that the prize for that season was a spread and feature in Vogue Italia and Italy's Beauty in Vogue. Ann had the more high fashion look that was appropriate for those publications. Cavalli said it perfectly in the finale, Ann is more appropriate for Italian High Fashion, Chelsey the US. Furthermore, considering how the likes of Freja Beha Erichsen was dominating the high fashion market at the time, it's no surprise that they took a shot with quirky editorial Ann
yeahhh, She's so beautiful! she was one of my favorites at the beginning but her eye expression didn't really appear on the pics, at least not in the ones they picked :(
I was rooting for Anne on her cycle, but i wish she had Chelsea’s determination and passion for fashion.... Anne was what European high fashion models looked like back then. She would have slayed the industry if she knew her fashion history and community....
She was too tall and didn’t ever present herself as a model in person. Other than taking pics, she wasn’t good at anything else. Her runway was atrocious. Chelsey was a much better choice.
@@stephanieramirez2769 Chelsea may have been better performing but the problem was that she isn't unique, there are dozens of models who look like that. Ann had a more unique look and I think she deserved her win.

I'm not here to defend her or anything but Chelsea was a boring choice as a winner and Ann's Vogue Italia and Beauty In Vogue spread just showed why she won. I am not even talking about the model industry outside of the show that's what you brought up, I am stating why Ann won the show and Chelsea didn't.
If you do not spill EVERY single DROPLET of tea of the all stars cycle I will be forced to watch it all over again to get MY answers and thats just cruel.
@@christianblackwood2053 she was. Look at the finale that was released. There's a million and one signs that production ended and then they started it again to reshoot the finale. (Everyone has different hair styles and lengths, people have changed weight)
I didn't know that cycle was having trouble with ratings because to me I think cycle 15 is one of the best cycle. I also love cycle 16. All the models from both cycle looks high fashion and fierce.

I loved that Chelsea was vocal about her having a good experience with Tyra. I hate that she’s the only one getting thrown under the bus these past weeks but it seems like a lot the girls have good things to say about her.
As far as people demanding more tea, let's also remember that Jay worked with Tyra for over a decade. Maybe they aren't as close now, but she helped him a ton in his career and I'm sure that Jay doesn't want to completely throw a knife into her back. Tyra has even acknowledged that there were things she regrets from the show. Live and learn!
I love that Chelsea didn't let the show get in the way of her genuine friendship with Ann. I also like that she's honest, she was kind but she's very truthful with her answers.
This is a completely different side of Jay! I love it! The crazy thing is is that if we can feel his love for his craft and job through the screen then imagine how he treated the girls on set 💙
I don't think angelea would do the all stars. She seems to have distanced herself from the top model brand and even private on Instagram. Think the betrayal she had on the all stars just made her detest it all
When I first saw Anne,she did look like a model but during the challenges, runways and knowledge of modeling Chelsea had it!I knew she was gonna become a finalist since the first episode!

It was so awesome seeing Chelsey again! She would've made a perfect winner for this cycle....poised, intelligent & focused. I really liked Ann & I don't mean any disrespect to her; I just think she was too young & wasn't ready for a modeling career just yet. I also LOVED Chris, Kendall & Kayla.... looking back, there were so many awesome girls on this cycle! 🤯
@@melmel4712 It's extremely ironic how the girls Tyra terrorized like Danielle, Toccara, Camille, Bre, Keenyah, Yaya etc, had impressive careers and some of them are still modelling till this day. While the girls she coddled to death like Ann and Brittani barely lasted three to five years before they packed up.
I'm just going to put this into the universe - Mr Jay please (please please please) get Molly for cycle 16, she's still a working model and she will keep it real. I loved her personality on her cycle, it would be such a blessing to get to hang out with you both for an hour!

34:39 Jay talks about Chelsea’s passion for the industry and so I remember the shoot where they had to meet Missoni (or was it) and Liz didn’t have an idea what Missoni is so she said she looked at Chelsea and saw that she was excited and then said if Chelsea’s excited this must be something big (or something like that lol) and it was funny because it was indeed true. Chelsea knows her thing!
To me, the show wasn't getting weaker because of any cast of girls, or photoshoots, or anything like that, it was the editing. The earlier seasons were edited to be so fun and dynamic, but it morphed from having the emphasis on the competition to the reality show portion.
That’s how the world has evolved, unfortunately. Everything used to be simpler. I remember the first cast of real world was really just 7 strangers in a house. And then production got more and more grand. RU-vid videos started off as people in their house filming themselves. Now there are ring lights and influencers. Everything is just more complicated and highly edited and produced.
I'm kind of surprised the show didn't do good during cycles 15-16 because I honestly loved the direction they were going for. Strong, talented models and how they got big names in the industry (Matthew Rolston and Karolina Kurkova were probably my favorite guests) to come on the show and help the girls. I think what really hurt the show, not only were the corny challenges, but also how some winners (Krista, Saleisha, Whitney) were crowned over much better models, that really got some fans kind of over the show
I remember really liking her on the show. Her drive and passion was there and a lot of her photos were stunning. Her personality was a little dry but I suppose that's just who she is. Doesn't mean she's not nice though, she presented herself to be very respectful and likable here.
No shade but I was surprised to see Chelsea on this chat! I was hoping it would be Chris or Kayla. She’s very subdued and sophisticated, doesn’t quite fit the gossipy chat format.

I have to disagree bcs yes it was such strong season in general. Step in to the high fashion level. Collectively, strong pack of girls. But after watched it several times, i realized there were so many filler contestants and I already could tell the tops from the very beginning. The real strong contenders were just (imo) Ann and Kayla. Then we have Chelsea. Maybe jane and rhianna, also Kendal. Beside them. Not really. No hate. Just an opinion ❤️
I think the only one who evidently favored Ann was Andre. Andre had vision in terms of who would be most appropriate for Vogue Italia at the time with new models like Freja Beha Erichsen, Daria Strokous, and Eniko Mihalik featuring heavily in spreads. Both Cavalli and Andre admitted that Ann had a more high fashion look appropriate for Italian markets hence why she most likely won.
I saw the season when I was younger and rooted for Ann. Still love her to this day. When I watched the season when I got older, I really felt bad that Chelsea didn't win. Ann killed the challenges. But Chelsea was ready to represent ANTM.
if people backstage rolled their eyes at cycle 13. actually makes me wonder if Tyra made some good decisions. i, personally love cycle 13. probably one of the best tbh.
Chelsea is really respectfull and she was totally right. If she said she don't deserve the win more than Ann they just crown Ann with that reason like : "You said Ann deserve more not you" :) As we all know how sometimes Tyra turned out these monologs. I'm little sad they don't talked about Esther and Jane, they were my faves in this cycle. :\
I don’t love when the chats are very centered on the guest, I love they give their perspective but sometimes I feel is too “guest-charged”, btw all of them have been lovely
I want to finish watching the rest of these chats since I have started binge watching top model again and these are very underwhelming and not really spilling much tea. Mr. Jay comes across as a malignant narcissist. He almost is so delusional that he thinks releasing a novel based off of the show would not sever the relationships he may have had with productions and higher ups within the network. He just seems completely delusional to me but i loved Chelsea on her cycle.

It's kinda hard to sell the whole "high fashion" thing with top model when the show had already built kind of a corny reputation. It's hard to take it seriously. I think fans just wanted the show to ease up on the cheesiness and take itself just a tiny bit more seriously. No need to go to the other extreme
I'm just mad they refused to throw Jane a bone that whole cycle. She was low-key killing it and would just toss her aside. She and Kayla were my final two.
It's nice to hear that Chelsey had a positive experience overall and that the producers did care about her feelings (especially for the teeth gap). She was very honest and well spoken.
The gap thing wasn’t a contradictory thing, it was a trend thing. At the time of danielles gap it wasn’t marketable and by the time Chelsea was there a gap was in style, so that’s all it was really
Jay is so two-faced,if Anne was his guest he would say how amazing she was and that she deserved to win but since Chelsea is his guest he keeps throwing Anne under the bus.
I think the issue with this is more as to why they're skinny. Ann is naturally skinny cause she has a fast metabolism, while Anamaria took measures to make herself thin. It is even revealed in the chat that they noticed Anamaria's weight loss from casting till the first episode (3 weeks)

She was seen eating whatever she wants and deep fried Oreos while anmarie was obsessed with weight. Even in her first bully photo you see you can’t even see Ann’s hip bone or lower abs it’s round and her arm and legs are thin but you don’t see the outline of bone like you did with an🤷♀️

The way go-sees are done on ANTM have always frustrated me. Having the girls wander around aimlessly in foreign cities with a full production team and no GPS, with only a limited amount of time to make it to the go-sees and get back to the destination before being disqualified, it feels like the odds are totally against them. They may as well shackle boulders to the girls' ankles and expect them to complete a full obstacle course to get to each go-see.
I was one of the few people truly rooting for Chelsea to win over Ann. Sure Ann had a unique look, but she had no where near the character Chelsea had. And EVERYONE is picked on as a kid, not just Ann, it was annoying how much she played that up.
People are going to disagree with me likely because that's the world we live in, but Danielle's gap was closed because she is black, and Tyra was aiming to make her a little more commercial. Black girls have for a very long time always been at a disadvantage unless they were a huge name like a Naomi.

You can do research into fashion, especially as time went on and black girls (or ethnic in general) work just a fraction to caucasian models. I think Tyra's heart was in the right place in that she wanted to make Danielle a little more commercial. I think a Chelsey could get away with having a gap, but Danielle couldnt due to race. It's a big time double standard though.
I do agree Chelsea was a top contender, she nailed it! her walk was to die for but Ann was exactly what ANTM was looking for STUNNNIG and she was so young.
I mean she was the only one to book Versace and he said Chelsea’s look was two years ago and common and I tend to agree. She would’ve been a boring winner and the runner ups and those who don’t win tend to be more successful then the actual winners (Alison, azmaire, Kat, etc) so your determination is what dictates your success post show as lots of girls got signed to other agencies. So Chelsea could’ve been really successful without winning but was so everyone saying she would’ve made it far as a winner...idk...
I LOVED CHELSEY ON THIS CYCLE! I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THAT HER FAVORITE SHOT OF THE SEASON WAS THE MOTION EDITORIAL BECAUSE THAT IS MY FAVORITE SHOT/EDITORIAL OF HER! SHE STOMMMMPPPPEEEDDDDD LIKE A FUCKING QUEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNN THROUGH THAT VENUE! BOSSSSS!!!! CHILLLLLLLLSSS!!!!!! PERFECCCCCCCTION!!!!! Her humility and natural beauty is intoxicating. I could watch her all day. Also, YES, I did notice the clay still in Ann's hair. I thought it was so strange!
