The Onn is has a brighter sound, but much less bass output and extension. The brighter sound of the Onn makes it a little louder at the same volume levels. The Onn isn't bad for the price, bur when compared to the 110 it's limitations are magnified.

I have two of these ONN speakers .. I play them synced together and they are outstanding.. I bought the first one for $129 and the 2nd one for $79 ( refurbished with $8 3 year warranty)… I’m somewhat of an audiophile, but I love value also… these two speakers played together are truly amazing for $200….I live in a suburban housing development and all my surrounding neighbors are very “familiar” with my new speakers and all have complained about the Bass… These speakers are super impressive for the money…

I can tell you guys right now I’ve had both of these speakers, and the JBL definitely takes the wind when it comes to bass on speaker really isn’t bad though it’s decent with its bass and you could probably find it way cheaper

My 2 onn speakers have enough punch, it will shake the house. Plus you can buy 3 for the same price as the JBL. I use them at parties and the battery will push thur the night , no wires and a great light show.

Bypass its bluetooth connection and its dac and the onn really shines. I run my old(but still upgradable memory and ldac codec= cd quality bluetooth connection) Samsung phone with my onn, have a fiio btr5 as the middle man. That btr5, the onn, and my jbl charge 4 were all $129.

That onn speaker sounds great I have this speaker and the price way cheaper than JBL Party Box 110 but onn speaker is very heavy. JBL Party Box is always the best Bluetooth speakers.

Outside the ONN will likely give you a little more max output due to it getting pretty sharp in the treble at max volume.

I have both. The W king has better bass the Onn gets loud. It all depends what your looking for. Onn bass is so-so. Wking bass better but not as loud. I guess go for the JBL for a more balanced sound.

I think jbl's mistake is making the speakers mono when there's one single speaker we still like stereo sound on one speaker it's kind of like left and right but only instead of left and right it's just like the center speaker of a surround sound

They are actually stereo.from a single speaker. The vertical orientation of these speakers, as well as similar speakers from other companies, makes it less important, however.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews I would be interested in T9 vs large Onn too since they are both similar priced. T9 looks a little more portable and I believe has a better lithium battery. If you haven't already, check out their new largest T7 with a pull out battery. That definitely looks like a PB110 competitor, but doesn't look like it currently will be available in the US.

Form speakerphone the Onn sounded louder and better. But then listen again through my monitor IEM, wow the jbl just blown the Onn completely. Even when on speakerphone the JBL sound lower/muded, but actually it's sound is much more refined and high quality when listened properly using IEM.

I'm not a JBL fanboy btw. More to Sony. Even then I already bought 2x JBL 110 purely for it's sound and from friend recommendation as he also own 310 and encore and manage to hear the sound personally from his speaker thus make my decision to buy the 110. But then even I know the 110 sounds really good, I'm still watching video comparison to justify my money spent of RM1699(364.75usd) per speaker. 😅

I mean factoring in value the ONN is more impressive to me. Jbl just charges so much. I'm sure it is tuned better, probably made from more premium parts, but for a party speaker I'll take the value.

Yeah, if you just want some music blasting and aren't focused on bass, then the Onn speaker is a good option. You can also connect two of them together wirelessly.

The Onn is actually a little too forward with the mids, IMO. The 110 really outclasses the Onn in sound quality and bass, but at a price, of course.

The Sony party speakers are no slouches. The Onn speaker does have some bass, just doesn't have that deeper bass sound that the JBL does have.

My coworker was just telling me about the onn. But now that I've seen your video I'm not going to waste a trip to Walmart to be disappointed. JBL is the clear winner I'd be more than happy spending twice the money. I'm thinking about getting the 310 ! I have JBL studio monitors so I can only imagine how disappointed I would be barbecuing with the onn outside. Jbl it is.

It has no low bass capability. I've listened to all sorts of music with it. It's just a cheap-o speaker.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews I just bought the onn and it has plenty of bass once i got the eq app for it. I get that "make things vibrate" deep bass, so maybe the eq was the difference.

710 is much larger, less portable and has no battery. But yeah, performance wise it's a great speaker.

I have two JBL Partybox 100's, similar as the 110. My coworker has the large Onn speaker. The Onn speaker sounds like crap in person honestly. Has not held up well, either. You get what you pay for. The JBL's sound fantastic.

JBL likes to play dirty with their bass. They make the bass play at a higher volume than the rest. (Imagine your jbl on 50%, the jbl plays the bass frequencies at 70% or equivalent so it seems more powerful while at a lower volume. If you turn the speaker all the way up, the bass starts to sag. Also, if you do something like this with the onn, you will have a much better experience if you like bass. Any phone that has dolby atmos built into the android version will have a sound setting with an eq that can raise the bass without making everything else quieter.

The bass does diminish some at higher volume levels with the Partybox speakers, but that's fairly common with a lot of speakers. It's to keep the speakers from distorting. The JBL app allows you to lower the bass and boost the mids and highs if you don't like the bass output. The Onn speaker is just incapable of delivering the bass that the 110 delivers. The Onn is a cheap speaker with cheap drivers. The Onn has a hollow sound with mid-bass only. Hope this helps.

Amazing on both ends actually. Even without bass reflection dynamics indoor sound offers. The ONN Is in there decently ahead on many fronts including price point. Jbl has cleaner excessive bass

I bought a JBL 110 on line and I havent even got it yet. today I went to walmart for food and they had this ONN on closeout for 69 bucks. How could I say no ? I couldnt. I just opened up the Onn box and tried it out. I should have said no. its really cheap sounding. not impresssed. sounds like a 3 inch baby blue tooth speaker, in fact, some of those I have heard sound better. Sorry Onn fans, but this aint it.
