J.C....you did it again. Another wonderful video that makes us feel that we are sitting there at that table sharing a beer with you and you're talking right to us in person. Thanks so much.. You're right about the sand..during my trips to Florida.. on a few occasions I went to a beach I love... Siesta Key Beach.. close to Sarasota. The whitest sand beach I've ever seen. Almost like snow... . Take care, Rob.

You can actually get a van right from the airport on the 1st floor near the Meeting Point food court. Runs to Koh Chang about 4 times a day. For about 800 Baht.

Good question. Show up any day at Thai immigration in Chiang Mai. The Burmese workers have their own building and queue lines due to how many workers there are there. So I am not sure if many are illegal in Koh Chang or have legitimate work papers.

If the vans going to Koh Chang are at the main bus station, it's easy to get a bus from the airport. From the train station I'm not sure. But I'm sure I'll find or get the answer on JC's member site.

Get a taxi or bus, ask for mo chit bus station,that`s the main one,there is another bus station at Ekkamai in BKK also.

Hey Jc. Another good video.. At the beginning of this video. if you go back to the main road, You will see V G Plaza. At the end of the plaza, You will see V G Apartments. I stay there often. I've managed to do a deal with them 3 Weeks for 5000.Baht. Air-Con, Hot Shower, TV, Fridge, CCTV.... Best deal on Chang. Also will rent You a motorbike... Good place to base Yourself. Long Stay.. Don't forget to take that long bike ride to LONG BEACH.. Best swimming place on Chang. Bungalow at 200 Bt.

Nice to see your "hard work", JC! ;-) Hope you enjoy it. I envy you. Maybe I should take a week visit down there when I have my 6 weeks to CM this autumn? Did you get the prices for the fishing trips? Is there any nice but reasonable places there to stay for a week?

paul levasseur Ice isn't an issue any longer in Thailand. All the ice comes from filtered plants and everybody drinks and uses it. Same with the bottled water used here for cooking even in food stalls. Not the same to be said for other SE Asian countries though.

There a lot of places cheaper than Chiang Mai.

Nick M That wasn't always the case. But anyplace where it is away from tourism will be cheaper. The ability to pay comes into effect in those places. Chiang Mai is now maybe the biggest tourist draw in Thailand now besides Bangkok.

Hi JC. Why can cambodian people work in Thailand and do the work a Thai can do ? I know they come work on the land near the border because they cheap and less controll. But in a touristic palce as a waiter? So that law is only imployed to white farang?
