Sorry man. Hard to take a camera everywhere and work around everyone’s schedule. I’m sure there are plenty of RU-vid videos you can find that do much better job at documenting this and being more instructional then I ever could. Thanks for watching my video!
I have an 02 ready for the bone yard for that same reason. The rust is hideous and afraid of it falling apart while driving It .Runs good, had to put some money In it so I hate to get rid of it. May take a swing at the same repair . Thanks for the good usable Intel!!!!
I just started repairing my wife’s 02 liberty Sport, the rocker panels are completely shot, going to fab up some tubing as panels and steps, also the two wheel well frame brackets, have to fab those too. Also replacing all the rear control arms, rear brake shoes and drums, replacing the transmission oil pan its rusted out and leaking, It’s going to be a few weeks or longer, but hey she loves her liberty for winter driving. I’m thinking some fibreglass as well for the wheel well areas. Thanks, great video.
Man, that’ll be a lot of work! I hope it goes well for you! I have to replace a lot of what you have to replace as well eventually. I replaced the oil pan off camera because it was rusted and leaking. Glad you enjoyed the vid, hope your project goes smoothly!
Just welded some plates into my inner sill/rocker and seperator'still waiting on my outer rocker/sill.going to cap one end of it by drawing around the new repair panel.cit it out with extra tabs to weld or plug weld onto the panel first from the inside.good effort.but your neighbour doesn't have a clue how to weld
