For all the money spent, the Land Cruiser (Lexis) is probabaly the better value, depending on how crazy extreme you wanna get for the average person. Thanks this was fun!

Definitely agree!! Not a true comparison Landcruiser had no v8 swap or crawl box my FZJ80 does pretty bad ass…Toyota’s parts are stronger built then jeeps

Landcruiser had too much air in those tires, which did not allow for the traction to grab the rock surfaces properly imo. -Great vid guys!

I had an 80 once. Loved the tailgate lift gate combo. Why have manufacturers gone away from this for the swing outs? Also, the straight 6 was silky smooth but I don’t remember it only having 87 HP’s!😂

I recall the Step Child has some rocker damage that was fixed! :) I have a 2020 JLUR and 2004 Lexus GX470. Step Child has 4X the HP at sea level but I love both rigs! I hope after 25 years my GX still has the umph that LX does! Ya could drop an '07 2UZ-FE engine in that LX and buzinga!

Fun comparison! You should have compared total money invested in each. Step child is a bad ass Jeep but based on what I can afford I drive a 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser. Purchase price + mods and I'm in it around $16k vs $100k+ for the Jeep. It's done Fordyce, Rubicon and a bunch of other trails here in California

I typically run them around 8, I don’t remember specially on this trail, probably more like 10psi with the elevation gain. EFI.
