The clutch has finally gone on the 1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ. That is just what I have been waiting for to install the Tri-County Gear Inertia Ring. The Inertia Ring adds 8 pounds to the Flywheel which allows it to carry more energy and that keeps the engine from stalling at low rpm's.
Absolutely great upgrade for any Jeep with a 4 cylinder engine.

Good see your hard work rewarded with performance you hoped for. Great job explaining the process and that motorcycle jack use was very clever. I may need to look for a good used one just to have around.

do you have any kind of posi in the front or back, or just running stock ,very nice yj BTW

I have a Yukon lunchbox locker in the front Dana 30 another terrific upgrade. The back Dana 35 is open. Waiting to lock the back axle until I swap in a Ford 8.8

Easily one of the best mods you can do for a 4 cylinder. Makes it so much easier to go slow when wheeling.
