Damn! Never heard of Andy Fairweather Low until I heard Gin House Blues on Clapton's Crossroad Festival and had to find out who he was. Who knew he sang with Jeff Beck too. He looks like an insurance executive on stage now but still sings with the passion of Muddy Waters. Hey isn't that Jan Hammer in this lineup too?

Shoot, I thought Curtis did a pretty good version.

This predates the version with Rod Stewart. And interestingly, Beck is playing pick-less. I had thought he gave up the pick in the late 1980s.

Andy squeals this song out, Curtis doesn't….Mr Mayfield wins hands down.

His lead guitarist sucked. Just kidding.

Not bad.... just nothing compared to Rod Stewart..... Jeff should have got Rod for this or he sould have persuaded Mick to do it.
