There is no reason for another team to trade for him. You would give up half of your farm system with the possibility of him leaving at the end of the season. If you are the Dodgers, Padres or Yankees, then just woo him after the season without having to give up all those minor leaguers.
Can you imagine The Dodgers still choking in The Division Series no matter how stacked their lineup/rotation is?? Yes...yes, I can. That's what they do.
I was thinkin Jeff was going to say pay him. But he’s right, everyone probably feels they are a Sho way that are competing. And you could really build around trout and do a lot more with 300 mil
Every night is going to be Japanese Heritage Night. Am a being sensitive that one, where the F did that come from, two, Dan seemed to say that with a little stank on it.
If u can get a handful of great prospects for ohtani, trade him in a heartbeat. You'll save money and the team would be in a much better position. Atlanta would never pay him what he's gonna want. That's not what they do
If I'm Artie Moreno there's no way I'm trading Ohtani for a handful of prospects. He'd go down in infamy as the man who traded Ohtani. No Elies out there.
He could just say ohtani requested for the trade and you know the fans would understand that he has been with Angels for 6 years pulling a Babe Ruth and in 2023 he has already set ridiculous history in Angels uniform the Angels would thank him for his service
Yeah, you definitely want to be the guy who got *something* for Ohtani, not nothing. What a stupid comment. And "Ellys" are *always* lurking out there...somewhere. Just an uneasy matter of findin' 'em.
