Let me tell you something disgusting about people,they don't treat people behind the screen as real people. They will support the victim at first but if the victim keeps talking about the tragedy non stop,they get bored and call them clout hungry and support the criminal.The fans mindset is more scary than the actual criminal because for the fans everything is entertainment. In 2014 my cousin put me in a wheelchair by crashing into a tree going 100+ mph despite me begging her to slow down. She didn't visit me in the hospital. While she was getting an upgraded vehicle, I was getting back surgery and being monitored for brain injury. She refused to help in anyway. When I found out Judge Judy compensates victims without it coming out of the perpetrators pocket, me being desperate for financial help for medical and living, she told me she wanted to put it behind her whilst I was stuck in the wheelchair. It's a different type of betrayal and hurt when the person you trust, maimes and permanently injures you. Watching them live an enjoyable existence while you suffer. My heart truly goes to Jeff and I keep him close in prayers.
I'll tell you that you can't sue for stupidity and he's the one that decided to get up there so you can't sue someone for your actions and your stupidity

now that so much time has passed, and i’ve seen so much Jeff content; i really don’t know how they were ever friends. david is such a weasely guy always trying to hide from the light of any error or mistake he’s ever made. jeff has literally been to jail, he understands that if you fuck up you gotta do the time. i think that’s why this affects jeff so much. david has to pay for his crime. there has to be some kind of consequence. imagine watching the guy who left you with a disability, keep making thousands of dollars on snapchat living this quiet hidden little life. it’s just so appalling and wrong. david needs to be shut down this has gone on too long… jeff deserves some peace.

As someone who last year was bite on the face by a dog I was pet sitting, needed reconstructive surgery to my eyelids/right tear duct, have 2 stents in said tear duct to try and keep it open, and still has nerve pain in my eye/nose region…… I can relate to Jeff However, I’m thankful that the owner of the dog took full responsibility, and offered to pay anything my insurance didn’t cover. We still talk, and keep in touch with how my recovery is going I feel so bad that Jeff had to go through that trauma, AND has to relive it with all the surgeries, and a POS “friend” who is causing more pain and suffering
Remember that any verbal agreement means nothing legally... Try to get that in writing if you can. Otherwise you'll have to go to court and waste thousands of your money to get them to deliver on their word.

The message was work hard, be loyal and you will be compensated/paid. With an expensive new car or trip etc. So he did pay his employees but it just wasn't weekly.

jeffs eye surgeon said he was millimeters from DEATH. if the crane hit a few millimeters over, he would have sliced an artery and bled out before an ambulance arrived. hes allowed to talk about his near fatal experience all he wants.

Going through what Jeff experienced and continues to experience causes a lot of trauma. He’s having to have another surgery and that’s traumatic while David is seemingly unbothered.

I stopped watching Casey after he made the doc and don’t release it anywhere. It shows he didn’t make the doc to actually spread awareness of a terrible person but for a payout. He is honestly as bad as David in my mind or at least the David enablers. Such a shame the majority of influencers and celebrities are just… terrible people
at this point he’s not making any money waiting for the doc to get picked up by some streaming service, and i’m guessing youtube wouldn’t monetize it depending on the content. maybe he only wants to release it when he can capitalize on it, which makes sense, he worked hard on it, but it has been so long already. it’d probably really help jeff’s case if he released it.

The whole NFT/digital currency crap all the influencers pushed needed to be addressed. Dogacoin was pushed so hard and most creators never put the disclaimer that it wasn’t financial advice. This is obviously way beyond this matter but it’s something that irritated me so much how negligent creators were towards their young impressionable audience that they know they have when looking at their metrics.

You can see in tbe video of the accident that Jeff was spinning super fast. David is filming on his phone while 'driving'. Jeff requested to stop. David being unexperienced literally stopped rather than slowing down. Hence Jeffs head smashing into the crane arm. It was horrific. So many bad choices.

If David was a good person, there is no way in hell that him and Jeff wouldn’t be on good terms. But that’s the key piece… if David was a good person. With all the resources and connections David has, he should be paying that man back on a daily basis, and then some. There is no excuse for him to not be doing that.
@SpillSesh regardless of my feelings on Jeff, and I am no fan of David, let's be honest... at the time in 2022 when Casey's doc went to the SxSW film festival, David still had a lot of liquidity. Both David and Casey had noted that Casey garnered so much access to TVS because of his friendship with DD. So... It adds up that a doc like this, that was not all flattering to DD, and that had huge buzz comeing out of the festival as this one did would have surely been sold and distributed. The simplest likley outcome is that it was purchased by DD from Casey so he could never release it, and bury it forever. I also doubt Casey would never release it just as a friend as all doc filmmakers need their films to sell as they never make much money otherwise. They could do that deal together privately and unless it was formaly investigated by the feds, police, or the justice system, we'll never know that. If I were David at that point in 2022, that is what i would have done.
Honestly, I think I am just genuinely sad that they used to be best friends, cause having good friends that trust you and you trust is usually a good thing.

Casey likely hasn’t released the doc for liability reasons. If Casey uploads it to his channel and David sues, the liability falls on Casey. If Netflix uploads the doc and David sues, the liability falls on Netflix. Netflix can afford an endless, pointless lawsuit, but as seen with Jeff’s situation, it’s much harder on an individual.
I believe if this doc came out it would hurt David in the court case I believe that's why it hasn't came out Jeff could be using the doc for his side of the story about how David is we will just have to wait and see
Jeff isnt doing this for clout. Thwy had an agreement and David didn't do his part. This is a classic case of a super rich person trying to run someone sueing them dry in legal fees so they give up. There should be laws against it because it isn't right. This is why so many people can't seek justice in a wrong doing because the person that wronged them generally has more money to drag things out. All david had to do was pay for the medical care he promised he would do. He could have kept YT going, and all would have been well.

I cant be fake I genuinely dont see how Jeff is going to win the lawsuit and I love Jeff and hate david but im trying to look at it from a objective viewpoint. Imo it seems like the case will be dismissed as its reckless endangerment on both ends…not only that its illegal to use equipment outside intended use. The only thing that I think Jeff has a case on is the fact that david agreed to pay his medical fees and didnt.
David has added responsibility and liability as an employer. It’s not the same as your friend being negligent and hurting you. I don’t know for sure, but I think Jeff’s team will have a pretty good case and be able to prove David was employing Jeff when he harmed him.
David could do a myriad of things to not look like a total and complete jerk. Like just pay the dudes bills. In perpetuity. You are a multi-millionaire many times over and Jeff was a part of the reason why. It is astounding to me he's going down this road.
