This reminds me of that one DIY creator that got upset that another DIY creator copied some of her art. I think she just wanted credit and the reason she even made the vid, is cuz many people on twitter were basically @ing onezwa showing evidence that after onezwa made a vid, the next couple days she would make the same thing in her vid… South African twitter definitely got in her head!
@@P4Stalot Going after a poor South African woman for defamation will be worse damage to her brand than the damages she is claiming. Plus the expense to do something like that when you know financially you will gain nothing is stupid.

I don't understand did she invent mozzarella cheese? Her video was posted a single day before Naras and I'm sorry there no way nara can record and edit and voice these videos in less than a day to get right on the back of her. The fuck?
Exactly, Nara said this isn't her daily life so my assumption is she makes these videos on certain days and then posts it because no way and especially with a young baby.
Let's not pretend that MAKING MOZZARELLA CHEESE FROM SCRATCH isn't a unique and sparsely executed idea. Nobody's claiming to have invented cheese. It's the combination of the various elements similar to the other creator. Not to mention, the age old dilemma of plagiarism by a mixed race woman from a hard working, lesser known black creator only to deny any cognizance of the latter's existence.
White women hate that she's with the man they all wanted years ago. I don't even watch her content but some people claim to not like her yet her mere existence seems to rile up their hatred. Very weird behavior
If Nara wanted to take legal action then wouldn't it have been through a lawyer or something? Anyway good for her cause this isn't the first that Onezwa lady has done something like that... A few months back she accused another content creator of copying her and causing them to be harassed by her pack of wolves over sea salt 🧂
A lot of creators on TikTok make food from scratch and I don’t see how she is copying her. I think anyone nowadays blames others for copying them just to drum up conversation to get more views and clicks.
And I mean, there is only so much you can change up a recipe with certain things. So many people probably think they came up with something so unique and amazing, only that there's probably someone on the other side of the world that does it the exact same way and also thinks they're unique. That's just what recipes are. There's only so many tweaks you can make to certain recipes and none of its really unique, imo. Also, recipes are constantly passed around. As if whoever taught Onezwa or whatever her name is these recipes, didn't probably get them from someone else, and so on and so forth. Let's be real, Onezwa didn't create or invent any of these recipes. Nor did Nar. Ultimately, it's just a stupid thing for people to be arguing over.
At first, I thought it was reach, but after I saw the comment on her video, she definitely knows who the other creator is and the fact that she lied and said she didn’t. So the fact that she is saying that she’s not copying anyone is a lie also.

People were TRYING to find a reason to cancel Nara. I called it, because everyone has been hyping her up a lot recently (as they should) and there’s no reason to. Let her live! I love her vids
she doesn’t need money from content creation she’s already very rich so imo she’s invading a space she shouldn’t be in. also mormonism is a sick and twisted religion, and it literally says being black is a punishment in their book.

Honey, lou, and slim aren't that bad, and I assume kids will have nicknames from friends as they grow up, but it's still not nice to set your kids up to be bullied.
There is a video of Nara explaining why lucky always has a toothpick and she said something about him having an illness, anxiety or smoking I don't remember but it was one of those. The toothpick keeps him distracted from what he suffers from.
I feel like the constant pressure from comments about the similarities of content is what gets these people fired up into drama. I mean, who planted the seeds of copying content in this? The commenters.
Their videos aren’t even similar? And can how can you “steal” a recipe made from scratch? Most people who do similar videos to Nara use a soft voice for their videos. I honestly don’t think how this girl thinks Nara is copying her 😭
Right? Like "SHE MADE THE EASIEST HOMEMADE CHEESE RECIPE LIKE ME" The type of cheese they are making is milk, vinegar, salt. That's it. It literally is a recipe that has been used for probably 2,000 years at this point. It's nothing new, if you join a homestead group they are doing nothing special, just cool homemade recipes. Recipes can only vary so much when all the recipes are from scratch using similar ingredients 😅
Okay but like, who cares? You’re not the first person to make mozzarella, & you’re not the first person to make boba - and baby, you’re not the first person to use a soothing voice in video content that you create. this is so entitled. and personally - i hope the lawsuit thing IS real. y’all are doing the up most, and this woman is grown. if you don’t have the lawyers to back up ur allegations, and start making drama when this is the same woman who commented on one of ur tictoks supporting you - you’re crazy.
Exactly, also what’s insane is she’s a grown ass woman, aren’t there more important things in her life? Friends or family or a partner or kids or a job or smth because this is just weird. A million person did it before on the internet and a million more will do it after them.
Did you not watch? Mozzarella AND Boba were posted right after the other girl. That’s a pretty weird coincidence. She is taking the recipe as her own and not crediting the other person.
@@MareMarMarie yes, finally someone!! And pretending that those are her CRAVINGS.. that's the point. @@MareMarMarie and when she was called out for it, she is playing it stupid lol... pretending that she doesn't know who Onezwa is, even though she commented on her videos before...
Honestly this seems fishy. Onezwa doesnt explain how to make boba or even list exactly what she used. I also find it odd that she would have been contacted by Nara directly rather than a lawyer. Btw I don’t watch either of them
Tbh I really don’t know what the issue is?? A lot of the recipes that Nara makes are things you can easily google online. And typically when you cook a lot it’s easy to just eyeball recipes 🤷♀️ she is not the first person to cook like this and she certainly won’t be the last… in terms of content I really don’t see how she is copying either… I think this whole thing is silly bc it’s cooking there isn’t anything more or less they are really making mountains out of mole hills
Honestly when any video gets popular nowadays, it is very common for someone else to try to steal the ideas of another creator, or even clone the style of their content without giving the original creator credit. We have seen this with Charli, and the Jalaliah Harmon incident. It’s important to acknowledge the people you have got inspiration from. Just because the person who cloned their videos are popular doesn’t mean that it should be supported.
cooking is copying recipes? like IVE made boba before. i feel like her voice change is for “soothing and relaxing”. nara to me is like in on the joke and this shouldn’t be that serious
Since everyone here seemed to miss the point... She is constantly claiming that she 'created' these recipes herself. As in... came up with them.. invented them? But its been shown time and time again that they are the exact same recipes as other content creaters. The issue isnt her videos or voice or cooking, its the fact that she profits off these recipes without ever giving credit and claiming she just came up with them.
I read that South Africa isn't part of the creator fund, so she can't make money off of her content the same way Nara can. I think the sudden switch up is from that, but the argument itself is pretty weak. I can believe that Nara has been using other people's recipes without giving credit. Saying she just googled one and then not linking the recipe, but claiming she came up with others on her own, that's a little fishy. But full on copying? These are pretty basic videos. Even Onezwa growing/gathering ingredients and milking cows is nothing groundbreaking. I follow a lady in the countryside in the UK who does the same thing; is she copying Onezwa bc she's milking a cow to make cheese as well? She should have just petitioned to allow South African creators be a part of the creator fund instead of all this.
I honestly don’t understand what’s wrong. I have found plenty of inspiration from women online when it comes to the kitchen. I’m grateful when I get to include a new recipe and sometimes record my family’s reaction. It’s fun and inspiring. Perhaps it’s a possibility she got inspiration from this woman and wants to show how she includes this to her day to day. Or maybe not but I don’t think it’s fair to say she’s stealing someone else’s content. How many viral recipe videos have other people used and tried in their home to review it? Countless. There is plenty of homemakers who does things from scratch it’s not limited to one person.
So this woman thinks she invented cooking?? I see hundreds of TikTok’s of the same recipes from different creators every damn day. She needs to get a grip.
I think it’s very possible that Nara is copying content. She’s a literal model; her entire schtick is fabricated & contrived to sell a ~crunchy SAHM aesthetic~. So imo, if you’re going to act like you’re so unique for making things from scratch…. maybe actually have original content ideas. HayleeBaylee is known to copy popular videos, too, and it’s tacky. Just because recipes are shared doesn’t mean that Nara isn’t being unoriginal or copying someone.
Nara has never claimed this recipe is hers, plus it's a possibility that Nara makes these videos days before and then edits them, she after all has said this was not her daily life !
stealing content? stealing ideas? that would imply that her ideas were original??? making food from scratch is not an original thought. so therefore cannot be stolen
The corn flakes video is what made me subscribe to Nara! The milking of her dog is HILARIOUS and total satire!! That was the first video I ever seen of Nara’s so not sure if all her videos are Satire but that one definitely was.. maybe she was playing off this lawsuit?! 😂😂

Then she should credit the creator she is using it from. Period. People go insane over dance credit on tiktok, but when it comes to crediting a BLACK WOMAN over cooking videos suddenly it's a non issue to credit someone you take from.

No guys. You are not getting it. It was Nara's audience that went to onezwa and accused her of copying nara. Onezwa was minding her own business doing her own thing. Now there were enough fans that kept accusing her of copying nara and then onezwa addresses this. For me, the fact that naras staunch fans could pick up all these similarities , and its not just the cheese and the tea, is telling . so nara clearly was spotted bybher fans but they thought onezwa copied nara

Y’all in these comments are annoying. She isn’t saying she created these recipes. She is saying Nara is copying her video concept. Someone making a video for something and someone who has views their page making that same content the day after can be dismissed as coincidence the first time. The second time it’s not coincidence. She’s getting the idea to copy this woman and put it out the day after and benefitting while Onezwa doesn’t. “Oh, she didn’t invent mozzarella” yeah. We know that. But her video style is vein copied. This was further proven when Nara said she never saw a video or heard of this woman, but was seen commenting on her videos. Why lie about that? This is really giving me vibes of the renegade dance. Oh sure the girl didn’t necessarily say she invented the dance, but she obviously got it from Jalaiyah Harmon, the inventor of the dance, who received little to no credit, and nowhere near as much fame as the white/ light skinned counterparts of who were using her dance.
I can’t tell if that chick is serious or if it’s all a parody. To be honest, I can’t stand the fact that it sounds like the microphone is sitting in her esophagus. If it’s all for entertainment, then good for her she’s done a great job.
Ok..but how does it give more credence to the other girl if it's not real tho like you said?? Also it takes some time to make mozzarella from scratch then edit the videos I don't think she did it in 1 day then post it it's probably coincidence, cooktok uses those type of soft voices alot and it's not like there's infinite amount of things to cook
So Nara should allow a clout chaser to destroy her brand?? Do you take this approach with all defamation cases? Does this mean YOU never defend yourself from envious narcissists and their flying monkeys? I commend Nara for letting professionals handle this.
Nara has the larger audience, I don’t think this hurts her at all. Especially since it’s a frivolous way to make money. Most people aren’t up in arms about content creators. It’s not really respected compared to other sectors of work.
She did say it's not her everyday thing. It does seem judging by her Instagram that her cooking/meals is the same as her videos, I suppose it is as Nara has eczema which limits her from buying store bought products.
This whole argument is ridiculous. I can think of 6 creators with similar content. Did they steal it from her too. Nothing is original on the internet. The name of the game is who can produce content that catches and keeps an audience. I see 2 different creators with similar content. Nara is not the first content creator to make mozzarella cheese from scratch.
If she isn't the first person to do any of what she does, then how can Nara be copying it? People can make things from scratch if they want?? Inspiration exists? Maybe I'm missing something here...😂 I'm not into Nara's content and I've never heard of Onezwa, but this is just silly.

She can’t sue over this, like she said herself, neither of them are the first to make any of this stuff. It’s pretty stupid for Nora to make the same things right after the other creator. If Nora were smart she would put a little more time between the two if she’s going to copy her recipe.
Their video was a day apart. Unless she ignored everyone and worked on the vid none stop. I don't think she had enough time to do it right after the other girls video. She has a lot more things to do than just make a dish and post it right away.
She can certainly sue for DEFAMATION. If you lie about someone and cause them professional harm, they can sue you. And also Naras videos are more professional than that woman’s. Theres no way she filmed, edited, did voice over and uploaded within 24 hours.
