Non-binary and non gender conforming identities have existed since for ever. I think the best example is Public Universal Friend, an absolute icon, who did not go have any gender and perfected to be called only Public Universal Friend.

The liberals got sick of him being toxic so now he’s catering to conservatives to make up the profit losses. It’s simple greed and disgusting, especially because conservatives will use him as an example of “proving” they’re not transphobic/homophobic because he “agrees” with them while simultaneously mocking him for his fashion choices and sexuality behind closed doors. The current mainstream pronoun count is He, She, They, It, and Ze (which is not just made up, but is an English word invented in the 1800s by authors to refer to a person of unspecified gender and has gained popularity in the last decade. It wasn't made up in the last decade.)

People like him are the reason why I'm not out as non-binary yet, this is an extremely widespread attitude towards us, common to much scarier people than this piece of work.

My dad came out as trans when I was 11 (that is 18 whole years ago), the first non-binary person I met 15 years ago.. And I wasn't even that involved in the LGBT scene here, I just ended up going with my dad to some educational and artistic LGBT events.

Most of existence is bimodal not binary. Binary is limited to the 1s and 0s of computational code, with the rise of quantum computing, it is likely that binary code will not exist for too much longer. In physics, the question of the binary condition of particles was found as not applicable. The reason why this matters in this context is because it explains the difficulty people having language and culture evolve with our understanding of reality.

one of the most annoying things to me is when people say that non-binary is some "new" thing, especially when it's lgbt people going "well back in my day we didn't have these made up identities!" YES y'all did, YOU just weren't exposed to the part of the community that acknowledged and celebrated nonbinary identities. like, are we just going to ignore that there have been attempts to create a singular gender neutral pronoun since the mid-1800s? that there have been historically significant people in lgbt history, such as leslie feinberg, who do not fit under binary gender traditions? saying that nonbinary is some new thing is erasing LGBT history. just because YOU never noticed it doesn't mean it wasn't there. even if the term nonbinary itself wasn't popularized until the '90s, that doesn't mean it didn't exist, it just finally gained a word that could be used to describe the concept shorthand.

When youtube had a messenger inbox jeffree wrote me around 12 -15 years ago. This was before he was famous, it was around the time of MySpace etc. And he asked me why I gave up being a "hot man" to be a woman. I think he has a ton of self hatred. And has never really been able to self reflect on who they are. I mean it's obvious that they are very very attached to the physical. What I'm curious about them is, how strong is that mind?

What's the most unfortunate, is the fact that the guy interviewing him literally says "they'll think we're transphobic if we say stuff like that. We need someone who looks like you so they'll listen. He uses the "I'm not bigoted towards this transgender group of people! My sexuality is [not straight identity]!" defense. He also uses his claim of not liking labels to dislike the existence of a concept that uses new terms. As a nonbinary person, I personally like the term because it's a piece of language that I can use to convey information about my gender identity. It's not a term that completely encapsulates who I am as a person. The word apple makes you think of a general idea, and then there's over 7,000 varieties of apples (source:Wikipedia). A label is not a restriction, it's a ballpark idea that you can further expand on.

My head was filled with misconceptions that the people around me where thought and they still think that. To this day. I wanna be open and myself, I want support but I don’t know if ill even get acceptance. Feel so lost honestly

That clip of Jeffrey talking about pronouns is not hypocritical. He didn’t care about what pronouns he was referred by, but non binary people care a lot, and possibly too much, about what pronouns they are referred to, in my opinion.

I honestly think Jeffree is just doesn't care about giving identity language IE, pronouns. (He says 30 on account of the neo pronouns) I think he misses the mark when he fails to understand that pronouns are really important to a lot of people. And that using someone's correct pronouns are for them, not yourself. Like you said, using someone's preferred pronouns doesn't take away anything from me.
