From the first few notes of "Jenny of Oldstones" on Game of Thrones (S8, E2 - don't worry though, there are no spoilers!), I was obsessed and knew I needed to do a cover! I arranged, recorded, and filmed it in just two days. Thanks to Blake Smith Music for mixing and mastering the track ( / blakesmithmusic ) and my mom for helping me film!

This still is and forever will be the best cover of the song. Everyone tries to go fancy and "bring their own touch" to it, whereas Ginny just captures the forlorn feeling of the song perfectly.

My DM used this song to make our party cry in the first session of a new campaign! So beautiful! The singer was a young halfling woman that sang it as her last performance before leaving a besieged town. She recorded it on a magic amulet and our DM played it as we found out that she had died trying to escape before the next attack.

I am currently dogsitting for my study and we had a litter of 9 pups. We had made a playlist for the pups of gentle music and I accidentally put this in the list.
