I have long maintained that Jeremy Hunt is responsible for the shortage of doctors in the NHS. He was the one who forced hated and unfair contracts on junior doctors. Understandably they took their hats as soon as they could after qualifying.
Thank you! My god I thought I was going mad when the media were gaslighting us by portraying him as some NHS hero after the pandemic. I seemed to be the only one who remembered that he was Hunt the C*nt and that he nearly destroyed the NHS by cutting it to shreds. Glad to see my memory isn't wrong and that others remember what he did.
Excellent video. The way Jeremy Hunt handled the NHS is the absolute definition of privatisation by stealth, introducing cuts and worsening the service to make the private model look more and more appealing. It's been the MO of the conservatives for the last 4 decades.
There is no way Jeremy didn't have a mandate to cut NHS. He was doing it under the table, backhanded and in the dark and running around yelling about how he was such a great guy and the media really like the positive vibes
Canadian here, i love watching these types of videos from other countries because it really does show we all are feeling the same thing ; squeezed by those at the top.
In the time he was in charge of the NHS, the population increased by 4% or 0.67% increase per year. So anyone trying to claim it was due to too many people that the NHS was worse, that is nonsense and there wasn't some new technology that cost a lot, in fact in that time costs for some stuff came down. Not to mention we don't live in a zero sum game more people = more taxes, more people to work in the NHS.
It was Andrew Lansley who accelerated the selling off of the NHS to private contractors, via his wife's lobbyist firm. He got away with it, and so will cu... sorry, Hunt.
So glad I discovered this channel. I wish more people would watch these because your videos are what we need right now. My only criticism is that sometimes I think you’re being a bit too nice.
