I was a drummer who studied Jazz Fusion and Southern Rock with John Favicchia at the Long Island Drum Center. Because of Jerry's recent albums and tours, I bought an acoustic guitar. I have a natural rhythm and the cords are starting to come. I can pick a little and strum. I am going to start taking lessons and my hands just keep getting better on the drum pads. Jerry, you helped me find that place that was buried. Now I find time to practice guitar, sing and my drum pads every day. I'm planning on bass and trumpet lessons too. I forgot how awesome music is.

Jerry, you are such an incredible influence for guys like myself. The joy you have just talking about your craft is amazing. It has really been one hellava year for my family.. I was let go from my job 2 days before Christmas after 9 years.... we've all had enough of it I think lol. It may not seem like much, but I'm glad I came across this. Your happiness, and how humble you are really lifted my spirits tonight. You made me feel like its just ok being a guy with his cats, guitars, hanging out at the house just enjoying the moment. Not stuck in a state of worry. My apologies if this didn't make a lot of sense, but again man....thanks for just showing me its ok just being me. Would love to see this April in Atlanta. If the cards fall into place I think that show would be a great way to treat my wife as well as myself to a much needed decompression date night lol! As stupid as it sounds, i honestly believed that shot of the hat rolling in the "Atone" video was maybe a hat cleverly pulled on an invisible wire/ fishing line to make it look that way - but no, hearing the story behind it makes it even more incredible, really liked that shot!
