G'day guys, today we are reacting to Jerry Reed for the very first time feat. B B King. It really surprised me that Jerry was in The Waterboy, I would never have guessed. This was great, Jerry and B B together were fantastic.

Jerry is considered to be one of the greatest country guitarists ever, hell forget country. Elvis had him hunted down while he was on a family fishing trip to provide backup on a recording session. Try his me and Chet recordings. That's Chet Atkins. Also look up Smokey and the bandit movies he played Snowman and did all the music.

Jerry didn't just play on that song he wrote it, none of the musicians in the studio that day could play it like Jerry did on the original so they him in to play his own song on Elvis' s cover.

He was in classic “Smokey and the Bandit “ movies with Burt Reynolds also. All around great artist. And of course LOVE me some B.B. King.

Jerry was a monster player. One of his signature songs is an instrumental, "The Claw", brilliant picking in his unique style

Wonderful song. Jerry Reed was a much under-rated singer/ song-writer/ guitarist. Check out some of his duets with Glen Campbell and Chet Atkins.

Not only was Jerry Reed in Smoky and the Bandit, he wrote and performed the movie’s main theme song East Bound and Down. There are some great videos of Jerry and Glen Campbell jamming.

Jerry Reed was one of the funniest guy in Country BUT very talented musician! His bst role was ic Smokey and the Bandit with Burt Reynolds.

The song of jerry's you probably know was covered by Elvis, "Guitar Man" , Jerry wrote it and recorded it first on one of his album's. When Elvis was recording it they couldn't get the guitar the way he wanted it so they called in Jerry who then played guitar on Elvis's version.

Jerry's guitar playing is a huge influence on me. Most serious guitar players and fans of real music know who he is... I was just listening to Me and Chet the other day, classic album... Jerry's version of Georgia on My Mind is super inspirational as well..

Jerry Reed is one of the three In Fingerstyle..Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, and Jerry. He brought Elvis back 68’ Comeback Special… Jerry play that thing like none other, and when Chet was getting close to quitting, Jerry brought his style, and even wrote a ton of instrumentals he gave to Chet. He had to break Chet’s playing to play his stuff. Then was an actor, and so much to go into…Check him out brother ✌🏻

One of a handfull Certified Guitar Players as per Chet Atkins. Also wrote and performed Guitar Man which was later recorded by Elvis who asked him to play the guitar parts as he was not happy with the way his guitar player did it.

Jerry Reed is one of best guitarists ever! His virtuosity is probably not apparent to everyone who are used to flashy show off riffs, but if you listen carefully he is always perfectly complementing King's riffs. I’ve watched a number of your reaction videos, I believe I started with Boston’s “More than a feeling”.... excellent song and you’re right Brad Delp(RIP) was an amazing vocalist. You seem to enjoy great vocals and guitar solos and riffs. You should check out Steelheart’s “She’s gone” or “I’ll never let you go”, Mike(Miljenko) is just amazing!!!
