I may have to respectfully disagree....after a year and a half stuck I am sooooo ready for Disneyland. But I don’t have such problems as I don’t live in California so....I wait probably another year. 😂

@@Stephaniemickle yes I hadn’t actually watched it when I commented and I absolutely would not act that way and also won’t go until I can just buy a damn ticket instead of waiting hours because I have a job that doesn’t exploit my kids. I also only have one kid so it’s much more affordable and it’s an actual vacation for us, not just a local visit to a place I’ve been a million times. Also, as much as I love Disneyland I still make fun of disney obsessed people.we don’t wear matching shirts or character breakfasts or any of that crap. I’m sure they do all that!

That thought wouldn’t even enter into her Brain ever. Not a glimpse of that in anything I’ve ever see of her. People like her feel they are owed this because they built their own wealth from nothing and still have a poverty mind set

She didn't wait around for tickets. This is all one big set up from Disney and her family. A whole video about waiting around for tickets you may not get. This was done to promote people to buy tickets. Her tickets are free, with free food, room and board. All those kids too. Big money maker for Disney. This is the reason Disney is so expensive. They pay for promotion, so why not just give them free tickets to promote and sell the tickets for 3 times the amount? Look, Disney has been around forever and they know what they are doing.

Sounds like they lived apart and maybe their PCS was delayed. Or maybe a deployment was extended.

@@Flower4229 no he wasn't fourloughed. We were supposed to PCS together and instead they sent just him, otherwise in this case known as a TDY. This only happened because of COVID. It obviously could be worse and I'm thankful it isn't a deployment but it's upsetting that Jess's biggest problem with COVID was the Disney was closed when people had other real problems to deal with (other that losing family members because that is sad all on its own)

Exactly this is like a reaction from a child that has been asking for awhile to go to Disney or Disney World!! My sister took her kids to Disney World few months before Covid started her youngest was 8 didn’t even react so crazy!

I know the feeling. I lived right next to Legoland in Florida for 8 years and had to deal with their fireworks. It's cool...at first. Then it gets annoying.

I don’t follow a lot of family vloggers. From time to time, I will watch some of my favorites. But so far, Jess is the only one I know is obsessed with Disney. I’m not even that crazy for it. I went one time and would like to go again. But not that many time. Does Jess even know how to cook?

The food thing bothers me so much. I've seen several videos of hers where she makes herself a Hello Fresh meal while her kids are at school and then buys them McDonalds or Taco Bell for dinner. She brags about how bad of a cook she is, except it's pathetic and not funny.

I completely agree with you! I didn’t know how to cook when my husband and I first got married! Once I had kids though I knew I needed to kick it into high gear and learn to cook. The fact that Jess never learned to cook is so annoying and just lazy. She’s always stayed at home with her kids so she could have easily learned to cook by now. Start with simple recipes and with time you can get better at cooking!

BTW, I work at a hospital, so I had my vaccine set done early January. Parents got theirs a couple weeks after I finished mine, so a month after their second shots, we went to visit. Drove for 2 days because my (at the time) 3 year old missed his grandparents like crazy and we hadn't seen them since mid December 2019. I wasn't about to step foot in any crowded theme park without being fully vaccinated. I even had my antibody titer done before we went just to make sure it was good. My Dad is high risk with an autoimmune disease (I also have a different autoimmune disease and heart defect), so there was no way I was going to risk his health after having friends who have lost their parents to Covid. I am hoping by early next year, we have a good herd immunity with the vaccines and getting teenagers vaccinated.

My sister in law and brother in law with their three kids go every year at least once for a week. They fly every time.... I think it's ridiculous. But we are definitely different type of people lol. Is rather go different places for each vacation.

They live in California so its not that exspensive they only have to drive a couple hours then hotel and tickets.

We had tickets and an entire road trip planned to drive to Florida from Texas for my kids’ 3rd and 7th birthdays back in 2016. It was the year a hurricane hit and they actually closed which is the ONLY way they will refund your tickets. Our entire trip was ruined by hurricane Matthew because even the hotel our first nights stop in Panama City Beach was booked for the entire trip due to people evacuating the east coast of Florida so we couldn’t just spend our vacation there either. We successfully got a refund for the 3 days worth of tickets for 4 ppl and our amazing hotel rewards program did a great job at relocating our stay to Galveston. We still had a blast and were only 45 minutes from home! After all was said and done I spent hours on the phone trying to straighten everything out at the very last minute on the first day of our vacation and THAT my friend was enough Disney for a lifetime for me. No thanks, my kids literally don’t even like Disney shows or movies anymore so my bank account thanks them 😊

My family always drove from Mi to FL to save for traveling. Now I do it and don’t mind the 18 hr drive. It’s about $2,000 for people for 4 days. I’d don’t know how my family went for a week and could afford the hotels. I appreciate them for it though!! I wish we could stay a week!! I’m good with my budget and planning my trips outside of the parks.

When I was 12, we went to Disney World for the first time. My mom literally won second prize in a state lottery, so that's how we could afford to do it. We took a plane for the first time, but stayed with my aunt and uncle who lives an hour from Disney, then the cost of tickets and food and stuff. We didn't go again until after I graduated college and that was only because my mom got conned into a time share (that she still has). After a couple of times going in late June (hot as hell), I haven't been back. We are trying to go back early next year so I can take my 4 year old (who will be almost 5 by then) and I just want to go to the 2 parks I haven't been to, anything else is a bonus. I actually have one day left on a 5 day pass I bought 20 years ago, so I can at least use that for myself for one day. Pricey.

Yes I don’t see the excitement over Disney. Is falsely magical in my opinion. My in-laws want us to go but my husband and I don’t want to. We might just go once but is much more fun to go to another country and get to know other cultures and actually engage with the locals.

Plus it isn’t logical or realistic and sure if they’re little kids they’ll love it but idk why you ever need to go more then once or with older kids, instilling complete fantasy into their heads instead of being realistic, especially in regards to relationships... plus the people that work there get treated like shit and of course half the characters are probably creepy, old and doing some side gig to shove themselves into a character costume 😂😳.
