Spring is here and life is starting to breathe again here at the Southern Outer Banks of North Carolina. Water temps are hovering around 55-56 degrees and that's about the prime time and almost exact date that the Spanish and Blues showed. Nonetheless, today I rolled with Jason Temple of Ali-Kat Sportfishing to chase some numbers of keeper Black Sea Bass. Used 7' Medium Daiwa Harrier Rods paired with a Daiwa BG 4000 series. This reel was paired with 40lb braid, 50lb mono leader and we were tipping a 6ounce Jig with Squid and Albie chunks. Get booked fast, because tourism is on the horizon along with these warmer temps, the books will fill up fast.
So the big news is, I am pairing up with Sportsman's Wholesale out of Morehead City NC. They have 5 locations now. One here, another in Wilmington and 3 in Florida. They're planning a massive expansion over the next few years with a total between 25-30 stores all along the coast. I'll be doing something similar to a Pro-Staff roll. I will buy all of their products they sale, promote them on my channel and continue to use their name and logos in my videos!
