David Gilmour has always been one of my favorite guitarists. Echoes showcases Pink Floyd just prior to Dark Side of the Moon and is the culmination of that initial post-Syd Barrett Floyd’s. Excellent composition and really-in my mind-the first Floyd tune where Gilmour’s style was fully formed. Beautiful Strat tone.
We all love the main riff to Echoes. Incredibly fun to play on a mandocello. The tune is in C#minor. I’m playing in C minor. However, could easily put a capo on to be in tune with the record.
