I have seen and listened to Jimmy 28 times and have friends that have enjoyed him at least twice that. My virgin concert was in 1979 when he opened for The Eagles in Gainesville, FL at The Swamp. I was hooked from the get go!

His Sister, Lucy Buffet is the owner of LuLu's very successful restaurant in Gulf Shores. His birthplace was in The State of Mississippi, but he was raised in Alabama. @baxtersave96 everyone has their own taste in music, it's not fair to bash rap just because it's different than rock. I listen to both and enjoy all types of music.
That's not true man. There's tons of rappers with a tremendous amount of talent who have incredibly deep songs. Listen to Tupac, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, etc.. And plenty of Jimmy Buffet songs are about kind of dumb things. Like Get Drunk And Screw. But people like rap songs about those kinds of things for the same reason that people like Get Drunk And Screw. They're just fun to listen to and let loose and have a good time.
