On a real note. Will Smith saying he wants to be a vessel for love fifteen minutes after hitting a guy live on international TV and then getting a standing ovation is just an incredible summation of what Hollywood’s all about.
The reality = Will B-slapped chris rock in his face hard live on the most watched show of the year. Then he cussed chris rock out, collected his award, was allowed the longest acceptance speech ever which was cheered throughout and received a standing ovation. Then he danced all night while the only big name celebs to say anything where people like nicki Minaj who supported the slap. His son tweeted out "that's how we do", which got over 1million likes. Then there was a debate for over a month about whether or not he was justified for slapping chris rock for telling a joke lol. Over a year later the only real big name celeb to 100% condemn Will has been jim carrey, and now that his mouth stopped hurting Chris is breaking his over a year long silence lol. Will just won a best actor award a week or so ago at the NAACP awards for the movie he put out AFTER he pimp smack chris rocks face.
@@OpenMawProductionsno he didn’t make a mistake as it was more of do as you’re told because he recognised Jada’s face as you wait till you get home l👀k! 🥹😢
“It’s simple. Smith’s wife had emasculated him with her “open” relationship that Will doesn’t accept, despite what he might say. His laughing at the joke then seeing his wife’s displeasure made him overreact to her negativity to “show her” he can be that man she wants. It’s over compensation for something that he’s never going to achieve. He needs to leave that relationship.” ~ Comment taken from another video. Sorry I can’t find his name.
But there are several people who know the women will fucked. The difference is will keeps his mouth shut about it. And Jada is putting it out for everybody. Will literally tries to protect Jada all the time and Jada just airs will out all the time
The guests point relies on the assumption that Will Smith was genuinely offended. But he clearly wasn’t offended because he burst out laughing, and then he changed his mind when he realised that if he didn’t do something about it then she would’ve cheated on him again
What part of open relationship don't you understand? They have had an open relationship since day one. Even adding a male, female or couples into their bed.
@@jamessayre6629 what part do _YOU_ not understand of; "agreeing to something that you don't ACTUALLY want or support, but WILL capitulate on in order to placate the demands of your INSISTENT partner, whom you love DESPITE the obvious toxicity in your relationship. And SHE COMPLETELY understands that you will do things you would rather not (agree to open marriage or polyamorous relationship,) if she just makes the consequences of refusing her demands awful enough (ie she rattles off a steady stream of complaints and insults daily - often during a live broadcast of some sort; her passive aggressive, cheating behaviors, and public reveals of said behaviors on her podcast,) to be worth avoiding." HMMMMMMMM? Or do you just believe what --people-- celebrities (with vested interests in holding the public's attention and sympathy/support) tell you is •->•->}THE TRUTH{
@@willysalcedo7944 I agree. He created a black cloud that will now hang over the day to that should be seen as his careers greatest achievement, and all to defend the honour of a woman who doesn't care for him and is willing to hurt him with no remorse
His wife has dragged him through the mud. He's a bit h for staying with that cheating ho. You don't let your wife get raw dogged and then get mad when someone makes a joke about her.
Did the Oscars steal from the Kaufman/Lawler playbook just to create ''buzz'' and attention since their ratings have been piss poor these past few years? 🤔 They're ACTORS after-all. #Staged
Joe's right. Will Smith had a total irrational meltdown, smacked somebody on live TV, and the ceremony went on like nothing happened. They gave him a standing ovation for his award like 30 minutes later. Something is seriously wrong with that crowd and the especially the management of that awards ceremony. Bottom line: the entertainment industry is filled with f-ed up people.
Should have been escorted out. Did you see Chris look over like, really nobody is going to do anything about this. Not a safe place with poor security. He’s a man who assaulted someone. Pretend he’s purple
Ricky should 100% host the Oscars.. it would be a blast. Assh0les would be clinched so tight that by the end of the night, all those sensitive snowflake, holier-than-thou actors would be sh!tting diamonds
Honestly I give Chris Rock eternal credit because I would have immediately responded with “bro you can’t even keep all those other dudes out of hers, pipe down”
If you go back and watch it Chris says something like " i could..." And then he didn't finish that sentence... You know he was about to unload something along the lines of what you said but he didn't do it.
Will acted out of impulse and was a mistake but I don't blame him for getting upset for his wife and defending her. Joe goes straight for the weird points
I never watch Rogan this came up in autoplay but he seems to be on the verge of saying something interesting multiple times only to be interrupted by Josh talking at length and saying nothing at all.
why the fuck do people like this guy talk so much when they are not capable of getting any point across?. All I hear is mumbo jumbo and heavy breathing
what he is trying to say is that it's not about what I or you think is right or wrong, it's about whats going on with will in a personal level and what he felt he should do in that situation, maybe in different arguments she gave him the impression he doesn't stnd up for her and he felt he needed to do something but not hit chris rock in the oscar and make a clown of himself in front of the world, that's what I took out of it
whether he is right or wrong and whether society agrees. If you insult a mans wife, He might just beat you up. That is how life has always been.@@azeemuddinkhan923
Well that is very simple Barnett's won over by the woke media he's on their side and he's trying to pretend like he isn't he's trying to articulate everything through the lens of a liberal media while trying to appear like he's on the same spectrum of rational logic like Joe here Joe is the real hero sincere genuine transparent and he's literally saying what we were all saying Will Smith had no right to do that not at all Will Smith ought to have been put in handcuffs and dragged out of that Oscar Amphitheater and the fact that he wasn't speaks More Than Words ever will
It’s someone desperately trying to justify something because a woman is involved, and it’s every bit as coherent as many womens’ take on such things, which is to say not all all.
Assaults the host, sits back down and later on wins the award for best actor and then cry’s and gives a speech about loving and respecting people with the crowd giving him a standing ovation 😂😂😂😂
If it would have been, Joe Rogan delivering that joke, Will Smith would’ve kept laughing. He smacked up Chris rock because he knew he could get away with It. Joe Rogan would’ve snatched the soul out Will Smith’s body😂
"so removed from regular discourse and interaction with regular people" I live in the top 10 richest cities in the US down in Naples Florida. The people that live in Port Royal are this way. I felt this statement 100%
Joe’s take on this is spot on - “emotionally fragile” Walked up on stage, hits the almost 60 year old comedian who is half his size on live TV, sits back down and has a verbal vomit while his mouth is quivering, gets on stage later and literally cry’s for 15 minutes about love, then proceeds apologize to everyone but the guy he hit - all with zero consequence
Oscar's have lowest ratings of all time. The all black crew that ran the show, got us all talking about the show. You would think Rock had time for a block!
THANK YOU for saying this. This guy kept interrupting just to say NOTHING. Like bro...you don't need to suck all the air out of the room! Take a breath. Listen. Let Joe speak. Good gravy.
Will stood up, interrupted a whole show, assaulted a man over a light hearted joke, went back to his seat, swore at him, got coddled by his Hollywood friends, won an award, made a speech, and got applauded. I can't even fathom that kind of privilege.
All for a (h)airless bicycle. After everyone has finished using your bicycle, you go on and slap the class clown for pointing out your tyres have no (h)air.
No kidding! I was really looking forward to Joe’s comments on the Will/Chris situation but instead got to listen to this nut ramble on about NOTHING ☹️
Yep. Hollywood people are garbage. Chris Rock is a comedian and has the balls to occasionally bust balls and be offensive. None of them do. They are cowards. Not to mention actors can play a racist, sexist, homophobic character and not be branded that for life. Where as a comedian makes an offensive joke and are labelled forever. Unfair double standard.
That's what has got me fucked up. Not that I expected all of them to do the right thing. But, at least a noticable lack of applause. He earned the award, just not the honor.
Scrolled down until I found this comment. What a terrible guest. I think literally the worst. He's constantly talking over Joe. It sounded like he was talking to someone else other than Joe.
His whole career was reduced to this one night over a woman who consistently degrades him and sleeps with their kid's friends. It doesn't get any worse than that.
Re-watching that "entanglement" interview, it's so obvious how much pain he's in and Jada sitting in that chair torturing him in an extremely narcissistic way
Do people not know what PUBLICITY STUNTS are anymore?!?! They do one every year at the Oscars! I’m honestly surprised that anyone bought this for a second.
Yes and no. Chris Rock needed to file suit and report the abuse. To stand up and say to the world no...this isn't ok. I'm not 'better' for not charging Will Smith with assault! It's this sort of mentality that continues to enable to belief that this sort of crap will be tolerated and is acceptable to do without consequence. And it's hardly going to be an issue right? It'll be a thing then disappear...but it'll be on record. Let Will Smith know it's not personal...but absolutely do the right thing...which is standing up to bullies and abuse! Not reporting it is why people continue to be abused in domestic relationships. Not reporting it is why people have been horribly abused in the movie industry. It's not acceptable to abuse a women and we expect and support those that are and when they lay charges....but a man should just cop it and be 'the bigger man'? Yeah nah! Chris did well at the time to restrain himself...though I imagine it was probably more fight or flight and Chris doesn't come across as the sort to go into fight agaisnt a guy that's probably twice his weight. He dropped the ball in not charging Will Smith and laying it down that that sort of behaviour is totally f***ing unacceptable. Boo hoo...someone said something nasty about your wife. Yeah...poor form regardless of Chris's 'role' on the night. But there's a process for people that abuse others where there is no justification of self defence.
If you just look through a few interviews and articles the past couple years, Jada has done way more to totally humiliate will than any joke Chris could have ever told
Jada emasculated Will at her red table talk talking about her entanglement with her son's friend. She had Will looking like a damn fool in front of the world. An on top of that she goes into depth about her feelings for Pac. Regina Hall said some things also about Will and Jada during the Oscars alluding to their open marriage rumors and they both laugh.
That's for sure. s2he goes spread-eagle for any Tom Dick and Harry including her son's friends. th3at's Will's problem --his wife --and he should get out of it. TAKE his money and run and hopefully he has a prenup cuz her career is zip
FINALLY! Someone said it. It's the yelling after the slap that made it SO worse. Then the getting the award and standing ovation. That was just too much!!
It would just be them agreeing with each other…. With the right comedian it would be funny because it would be jokes for days, but as far as a actual back and forth it wouldn’t really be much.
I like how the guest says at the start that he disagrees with Joe then constantly interrupts Joe to rehash how he in fact actually agrees with Joe by saying a whole lot of nothing.
Will Smith was putting on a show for his wife. He was laughing, looked at her, and thought “oh shit I’m supposed to be pissed.” Just shows you how much control she has over him.
Or, he faked a laugh and tried to shrug it off, because that's what you're supposed to do in roasts. But then he realized he actually can't. The joke was super fucking rude, Joe Rogan is clueless about alopecia it seems. It's a big crisis for most women. For men less, but you still won't have eyebrows which looks weird as fuck
@@shredd5705 she’s on record saying she doesn’t care what people think about it. Clearly that’s false. Also, maybe unfortunately, it comes with the territory being a celebrity that’s life is an open book. She has the ability to wear a wig or get eyebrow tattoos or makeup. I get how this could be extremely uncomfortable for someone, especially a woman, but let’s also not pretend that she’s suffering some terminal illness.
The oscars get 70 million viewers per year. Thats more than any RAP music awards you watch. There is no other show that can even get above 30 million views. Oscars ger 70 million
Honestly, Joe was trying to have a serious conversation with someone who is just talking for the sake of talking. Josh is like that one technical guy in a customer service centre that explains things that are not important, takes up your 15 mins and you end up leaving the centre with your product still having issues and your brain still trying to digest what the point in that conversation was. In our country we call it "smoking his way through".
There is a video going around of will making the same joke to a bald guy, also then saying it's a joke. Internet never forgets and you cant make this sheet up
I reckon talk about flaky, Imagine him talking to his wife, "yes I agree hun and I love you, and by the why you're 100 % right and you make such a great point, I couldn't agree with you more, and did I say I love you but....
@@patrickmitchell3258 because he had no actual stance. He told Joe he disagreed with him... Joe was happy he disagreed and invited him to state his stance, and then he just blabbered nothing
The fact that he literally got a standing ovation after the fact is most chilling to me. Poor Chris was ASSAULTED and EMBARRASSED in front of MILLIONS and the person who assaulted him gets a standing ovation. So sad.
Whoever this guy is just lacks the ability to process information normally. Talking to you if you needed clarification as you seem to have a hard time understanding the message.
@@calebwright9974 I mean, he's probably used to talking to 250 pound meat heads smashing their faces in for a living. The rest of the podcast wasn't as atrocious. But yeah, this segment made me not like him. I can't help it.
Holy crap the whole thing joe said about him acting like a movie character is so true. Even the way he walked away from the stage looked like he was playing a character
wellll I don't think Chris covered himself in glory. I don't think openly poking fun at a medical condition in front of a huge television audience is the height of dignity 🤷♂️
Don't you know today's honor and morality for woman is bedding as many people as she can? That BS's spilling over from the US into the world as many other things, and from such tiny part of the population, it's beyond crazy.
