When you walk around pretending to be crazy, eventually you are going to walk in to someone who is pretending to be sane. Conor learned a hard but very needed lesson on Saturday.
*this is awkward. its like going to class after your friend gets his ass beat during lunch time, and everyone in class is looking at you waiting for an official statement lol*
He's talking about his mental health... He was constantly under the influence during the build up. You can even see during the press conferences he was clearly unstable.
Listen man I honestly respect Conor's coach he is a respectful person and is about any bs. However if he did ever trash talk then I despise him as much as I despise Conor.
I really like how he constantly said "WE". WE landed shots, WE landed on our backs, etc... It really shows how much of a team effort this sport is. As a kid I always thought it was a solo sport, but now o realize just how much the trainers and coaches are involved. Seems like a good dude.
let's talk about McGregor clinching the octagon with his feet, kneeing in head, trying to pull khabibs gloves and zero penalty or even a damn warning! that's ok even with his cheating tactics he got his ass handed too him!
me using "white people's technology" ? lmao I am white and American so I guess that means I'm using my own technology dumb ass!! I am white amd American! oh and I live in Scottsdale Az..damn near one of the whitest places there is!! fucking moron!
@Marco Trapoja white people didn't invent shit. They steal and plunder like they always did. Every good thing they made wasn't based on whitery or w.e.
This is all for show. This guy also participated in racially infused hate speech, insulting Khabib`s identity, religion, ethnicity, family. No wonder Joe "I do as UFC says" Rogan gives this guy the platform to give his version of the story!
90 percent of the fight was Conor and khabib hugging on the Matt. Although that was khabib in control. He wasn’t “beating his ass” so to speaks as far as actual damage dealt the fight wasn’t that far off
The ref did a brillant job by stopping Khabib's choke, if you get a closer look, khabib was in no mood to stop choking Mcnugget and was gonna break his jaw and change his face for the rest of his life
MACK D yeah, this is irrefutable proof that you’re an idiot. Giving credit & props where it is due is a trait that many people don’t and NEVER will have.

Raed Farraj literally every fighter breaks those rules hahahah. Eye pokes and late punches have never been enforced either, and you expect them to take a point off for grabbing the ring? Get off RU-vid and go back to Mumbai Raed
Conor commits numerous fouls because he couldn’t handle Khabib’s ground game. After getting clocked and dropped by Khabib in the standup, Conor’s confidence must have been shattered.
It’s like 24/7 worship of this guy “ HOS LEFT HAND “ is all I heard for a week . Khabib record and devastating record are always side notes . Ridiculous
so true, John was the consummate professional in this video, smiling and humble. Massive respect. He realizes that his coaching had come up short and took it on the chin like a man. Not sure I can say the same about Conor.
conor mc gregor IS john kavanagh dude. there is a story where john kavanagh build conor back up AFTER conor lost all of his motivation, energy and didnt even wanted to fight anymore. so everything conor has and is- say ty mister kavanagh

Connor did got into Khabib's head but unlike all past opponents, Khabib kept piling up all these negative emotions inside him without showing a hint of crack in his armor. He turned these emotio s into a monster and unleashed it when the cage door closed. Connor had no idea Khaib was affected by his words until the fight begin.
Gonna be straight up and say he didn’t do any of that long enough for it to make a difference some this comment is stupid he did all of those things once and not for a long period of time. Not justifying it that shits illegal but doesn’t make a difference grappling a glove for a half a second and a knee that didn’t even connect and everyone grabs the fence natural reaction
@@Attackonstorm fuck he grabbed the fence like 5 times they made a difference and he held onto khabibs shorts in think round 2 stopped him getting taken down rewatch the fight
If you don't have seen the fight but just hear his coach it seems like Conor did at least a decent performance, but in reality if you have watched the fight Conor was DOMINATED.
It made sense tho sorta. Dont go crazy on him and try to wear him out the knock him out in the later rounds. Explains why we didnt see a normal conor. But.....imo the was the dumbest gameplan ive ever heard. He doesnt have the cardio for that game plan smh
Stefano M UFC fact breaking news: no bias 🤝 - The Caucasian eagle of south Russia khabib nurmagomedov defeats The notorious chicken of Ireland conor mcgregor in 4th round by submission from the UFC arena in Las Vegas Nevada on Saturday October 6th 2018. Let's move on guys gotta stay FairPlay..
He wasn't dominated just because one fighter is on top of another doesn't mean he got dominated. Conor held his own and won the the 3rd round, and in the first round khabib just tired himself out and didn't do much to actually hurt Conor the only rounds he "dominated" were 2 and 4. and even then if really did dominate conor he would've won first round. Fucking clueless idiot.
@@jason5674 hahaha wow! Conor get dominated look the stats! The third round Khabib controlled again everything: he decided to exchange strikes standing up, looking what he did in the second round. He could take Conor back in the ground in any moment! Indeed after the first 2-3 minutes he decided to takedown Conor again, and he succeeded in that! Didn't do much to hurt McGregor!? Hahaha looking the face after the fight it seems that he did enough to hurt him! McGregor didn't do shit! Deal with it!
Honestly, I think McGregor needs new coaches and training partners. He doesn't have to replace Kavanaugh, but he needs to add new people for sure. Dillon Danis said before the fight that he's a BETTER version of Khabib, so they were confident about the grappling.....are you effing serious?! That's the most delusional thing I've ever heard. If they actually believed that, it's no wonder they were surprised by how dominant Khabib was. Conor has a bunch of yes men around him who feed his ego rather than truly challenge him. Meanwhile, Khabib's at AKA with straight up monsters like Cormier, Cain, and Rockhold. Conor needs to let go of the ego image and yes men entourage and let himself get beat up daily by true competition. Then he'll be an actual top contender. That's why he can't deal with any adversity. His whole training camp is beating up on Artem and Danis, who thinks he's better than Khabib. Come on now.
I didn't read the whole post. But you are right with the team change. He needs guys that are gonna make him work. Not guys he can beat up on for hours a day. That's the difference. Khabib was in practice working with Luke, DC p, inviting Russian freestyle team members to work.
To sum it up. Conor had little to no idea how much pressure Khabib would put on, and how much hate/rage he would fight with. I 100% believe Khabib would have killed Conor if there wasn't a ref. I've never seen so much hatred. Conor thought Khabib would just choke under the pressure, and when he didn't it was already over.
p col lol this is the UFC bud, rage doesn't win fights hahaha. You remind me of those UFC fans who say "I can beat anyone in a fight if I get angry enough"
I don’t think rage had any impact on the fight. The better fighter won. But khabib did do some things out of rage. The second round ground and pound comes to mind. Along with the after fight hi jinx
Eh... I really thought it was just a bad gameplan. He was rushing forward instead of waiting for the counterpunch. We saw that Khabib’s all around striking isn’t that good in his last fight. To say Conor’s whole game runs off of shittalk is a bit much, his striking is worldclass.
M A if the UFC decides to strip Khabib's belt then maybe, but they'll prob protect him just like they did with Connor after the dolly incident. And they'll probably never match Khabib with tough opponents like Woodley, Tony, and GSP
Never is a ridiculous statement , at this level anyone can beat anyone , call it a punchers chance or whatever you want but there’s always a chance for a fighter to win
Khabib completely dominated Conor, he controlled every second of the fight and literally stood right in front and traded his best shots. I was absolutely shocked watching the fight realizing that Conor had no chance of winning even in the stand up.
@@innosanto he did watch it well and Conor didnt land even one good shot that shook khabib.khabib was controlling the position of the fight the entire time,He stood up when he wanted to and he took Conor down when he wanted to,plus Conor cheated multiple times to escape the submission and also Kept holding khabib's shorts and gloves to avoid the takedowns in round 3.So yeah,Khabib controlled the entire fight despite Conor cheating multiple times
@@EmeralArcher Conor cheated like a bitch in round 3 and throughout the fight but still didn't even stun Khabib, and he also got knocked down by khabib on the feet,so stfu hater😂😂.And yeah he controlled every second of the fight,he stood with Conor because he wanted to stand with Conor and show the world that Conor can do no shit, not because of Conor's worldclass Takedown defence 😂😂😂.
Tony Ferguson vs Khabib would be so much more enjoyable and entertaining because of the energy levels on both of the fighters, thats what I want to see.
If Conor won, literally everyone would be talking shit about khabib. Saying how he could never beat conor. Shits wild how people who don’t watch the sport talk the most
Thank you. You say a logical analysis of the fight and people are "get conor dick out your mouth" even though they are also the ones who are like "its khabib time"
80% of people now are brain dead retards can't just enjoy the event without thinking they no more anyway It was good entertainment I thought good fight
If you knew atleast a little about the sport you’d understand how exhausting it is when your being out wrestled. Fatigue is what caused his stiffness not alcohol lol. But whatever it’s like we say here “haters gonna hate”
He was obviously just struggling to stay alive on the ground without the slightest chance of getting the upper hand. Anybody who has grappled with a superior partner knows that feeling. I do for sure
He got fooked mate! Khabib looked like a level above Mcgregor. Aiquinta survived and did better and Conor was making fun of him. I wouldn’t mind seeing a rematch though. It’s hype!
No rematch!!!! Conor doesnt deserve one no matter how much id love to see him mauled again. But he got a title shot at alverez and had been out. Got a lucrative fight with mayweather and hadnt boxed.. and people had trained their whole life to get a shot at mayweather in boxing and didnt warrent it. Then he stays away for years and comes to try fight the best out there. Its a joke. No rematch. Let the fkr quit from ufc instead of tapping out everytime he gets hurt or tired
Lessons that i learned from this fight. 1 Be humble - 2. actions speak louder than words - 3. Respect other ones family religion nationality etc. 4. Everyone has his own limits, khabib went off but later on apologized in public. 5. Act like an adult - 6. fight like an adult - 7. behave like an adult - 8. Be sportsmanlike - Thats what i learned from Khabib, he is a true shining role model for me. He admits his mistakes and makes it up by apologizing. Mc Conor: "Proper 12 Irish whiskey not only available in bottles but also on tap!!" Available on october 6 ~ Sponsor of UFC
Actually in America he apologised.. in Russia he said " you cant confine and eagle to the cage, i told the UFC when you lock the cage 6 october im not responsible for my actions" lol
@@anejaG55 Punching a person who insulted him right after a fight with his adrenaline pumping =/= Throwing a steel dolley into a bus full of innocent bystanders when everyone is minding their business. Jonathan Lastname Well they score it in favor of the person that has the most control. You can do nothing against khabib if he has you taking down. He would’ve lost shitload of useless energy to get up.
@@guenthersteiner8163 of course he is gonna land takedowns. But if you're mentality is that he's gonna imply his will and there's nothing you can do then you're already defeated, mentally.
UFC 229 was the best Bang for the Buck MMA fans received this weekend! Khabib gave us Three Finishes for the price of one. Dropped, GNP, and Submitted Conor all in one Fight! What a bargain!
Dude that's the shock you receive when reality strikes you upon actually facing your opponent. The first grapple from Khubaib made Conor realize the difference of power levels in between them. Also he might seem slow but the fact was Khubaib out classed him in every aspect so obv out of the 2 Conor seemed slow. Stop giving excuses
Darren Walshe He can take another boxing match for 10x more money or he can go to WWE for 10x more money or he can make movie for 100x more money. Hes definitely not doing it for money.
no excuses he was outclassed by a superior talent but he looked terrible! think of Mike Tyson the way he went well that's exactly how Conor lives now I'm from Dublin were he's from and I could tell you a story or 2 that would shock you how he lives now and it's not healthy
Darren Walshe I agree. Conors face looked different at the press conference. He had an odd staring look on his face and didn't seem to have the confidence he used to have. Before his other fights he had some kind of maniac aura on him and now he just seemed like a regular guy. His try at trash talking was also very poor and in the ring he got mauled.
“If we end up on our back, stay there and play guard.” I’m sorry, what kind of game plan is this? You may as well have said “well Conor’s got no ground game, so we told him to just take the punches.”
Im torn in about this. Normally, yes it would be a bad game plan against a normal wrestler where it's actually physically possible to get up. But Khabib is not a normal wrestler, and there is no getting up when he gets you on your back. I dont know what the best gameplan was, but it's like choosing between two evils. Good fight from Khabib though, definetly deserved.
It’s a realistic game plan to have against a fighter like Khabib. The coach is real about Conor’s strengths and shortcomings and those of his opponent as well. They couldn’t have trained him to fight Khabib on his back in the time frame they had to prepare for this fight.
He’s just being realistic. Khabib is gonna get his takedowns and they can’t make Conor a BJJ/Wrestling pro in 10 weeks. Even if they could get him up to scratch in that time, he still won’t be as good on the ground as a guy who literally grew up wrestling bears.
Outclassed, outsmarted, Connor looked like an amateur.... No excuses... Connor is finished psychologically..... These coaches didn't have a clue about Khabib's prowess...
I mean Conor was gone for 2 years came back and went to the 4th with him. Other than that over hand right khabib didn’t do to much damage . This idea that he smashed him is kind of silly to me
Well i mean khabib did have him on the ground for nearly the entire round, so going forward without knowing the outcome, I can see where John would think that
I'm a Connor fan but he did fookin notting ...end of story. Connor better realise his mouth loses him the fight before the bell rings. He puts more fight energy out of his mouth and it wears him out. In his mind he thinks he's already won.....bad mentality to have.
That mentality made him hundreds of millions, meanwhile Khabib can't afford to move out of his parents house. Khabib was the superior fighter, but at the end of the day he still lives in his parents' basement
Conor fan? Really? You don't even know how to spell his name, also you have to be asian or arab to completely ignore the fact that this is how he built his fame - by trashtalking. It was selling fights, as "a Conor fan" you should've noticed that after and during his fights, he apologises and shakes hand with his opponent.
@@guenthersteiner8163 That's the difference between me and you. My thoughts on who won the FIGHT. Yours are on the Money. If I was arguing who came out with the most money I'd be all Connor. The fact is Connors becoming a loud mouth with money... In an industry based on fighting. Win the fight.
@George F Wait, what? Lmao, the fuck you on about. Conor got killed first 2 rounds, his coach literally said khabib had a 10-9 and then w the knockdown in the second making it khabib 10-8. Conor got the 3rd so khabib was up 2-1 going into the fourth.
Conor was losing. Round 1 was a clear 10-9 to Khabib, 2 was either 10-9 or 10-8 to khabib(I had it 10-8), 3 was closest round of the fight due to not much activity but a lot(including me) gave Conor the 10-9 but some argue a 10-9 to khabib. So Imo it was 29-27 to khabib going to the 4th. At most it was 29-28 khabib there is no world that Conor was in the lead in that fight. On the ground khabib was either doing good damage or at least had good control. On the feet it was closer than we expected hell The only time we got near a knockdown was khabib hitting Conor! Who would have expected that? I thought it was near impossible to predict but thought Conor would get a knockout/tko even though I wanted him to lose. He should have lost a point for the 4cheating instances though. Grabbed fence, grabbed shorts, held onto khabibs gloves and illegal knee onto downed opponent.
He won’t be returning to 155, end this shit. Put Ferguson vs Khabib, Conor isn’t of that caliber, this fight would’ve ended with a kimura and a permanently broken arm if Conor didn’t shove his toes into the fence and grabbed his shorts the whole time, shame on Herb Dean too for being an absolutely useless referee this fight.
@@joellukewarriorforjesusthe293 yeah Sherlock,Not just Conor, any UFC fighter will kick my ass.How does that change the fact that Khabib mauled Conor😂?Ass burnt Conor fan talking as if he is Conor himself 😂🤦♂️
That’s called being a veteran. Woodley does the same shit like grabbing the cage during the Maia fight when he was about to get taken down. Jones also does it with the outstretched fingers. It sucks, but the refs need to be better at policing it bc the fighters will keep doing it
Conor jumps out in Aldos face screaming at him whilst he's with his family. He starts on every fighter who happens to catch his eye. He jumps the cage in other events, wired up and pushes the referee around. He throws bottles into crowds of people. He flies a plane full of people from 🇮🇪 to 🇺🇸 to jump Khabib, smashes the windows of a bus full of people. He insults not only his opponent but also their families, their country and their religion. He assaults fighters during their stare downs. He cheated throughout the Khabib fight, pulling gloves, pulling shorts, grabbing the cage, kneeling a grounded opponent and sinking his toes in the cage. He attacked Khabibs team mate before anyone touched him. Now that glass jaw leprechaun rat is being treated as the victim.
You idiots seem to forget conor was charged, went to court payed millions in fines , and had problems with his Visa. You can't bring the past up when Khabib broke his rules of contract
That's a terrible game plan tbh. Khabib didn't have to take down Conor in the first especially that early, He threw that ill advised kick which gave Khabib space to escape the wall, he switched stances and gave Khabib space to move forward and then tried a knee instead of sprawling. We saw that even lethargic Conor can defend a take down like he did later in the fight, without those errors he might've been able to. Conor doesn't have the cardio for 4 minutes of grappling with Khabib. Hopefully John recognizes the many errors Conor made and works to fix them. Conor's entire game has declined in many ways.(also this is not discrediting Khabib, every error has to be capitalized on and Khabib was perfect all night)
Yeah, it's sad. I have to wonder if it's just a matter of not having the drive or if he's just too stiff at >155. I miss the Conor that used crazy spinning heel kicks and side kicks to drain his opponents. Like back when he was fighting Brimage and Siver, that's what made him. That crazy style that was impossible to predict and that fluid movement. I think he might have gotten to proud of that left hand that slept Aldo and put all his focus into trying to knock guys with it. We saw a little spark of that old self when he was using those leg kicks in the Diaz rematch. Maybe this is comparable to GSP losing against Matt Serra. Conor just needs to go to that obsessive drive and get his mojo back. Also he needs to start actually doing roadwork so he stops gassing.
i think the bad thing was he tried to get really muscular for the fight, hsi endurance and speed was lost becuase of it, i think in the rematch he should really focus on his old tools, the most but also take down defence
@@user-uu1et3fk4c he is well conditioned and can go 5 rounds while staying in better shape than his opponents. Getting into comfortable positions is actually what any fighting sport is about and it requires skills.
@@FactFusionU he’s well well conditioned and he spends his fights mostly on top of his opponents draining them. Of course it requires skill, you don’t just walk up to poirier, barboza, gaethje and get top position haha
@@owiniks i said his conditioning looks better because he drains his opponents in positions that are comfortable for him. That’s nothing like saying he wins cause his opponents let him
Shorts grab multiple times, fence grab with toes, push off the fence with his feet, grabbing Khabib's gloves, illegal knee to the head on the ground...I could go on.
As a Conor fan, it felt like the whole camp hugely underestimated Khabib and had far too little preparation and planning to counteract the takedowns. I'm sure it's really hard, but it never seems that Khabib really gets punished when he dives in for a takedown. He either lands or it resets back. Maybe a counter knee or something could work idk. At least it seems that someone needs to Figure out how to stop Khabib before he gets you to the ground.
A lot of people are really hating on Conor as if he's some fighting bum now. It's the fight game, fighters get beat and have bad performances. Great perfomance by Khabib but let's not forget who Conor is and act like we don't know what he accomplished before his 2 year lay off. I'm sure he can redeem himself, win a few fights first. Maybe the Diaz trilogy and challenge for the title again, looking forward to a possible rematch if Khabib is still the champ. I don't know if Conor is still hungry though, he didn't look like the Conor who picked apart Eddie Alvarez.
Kory, Conor wasn't on another level that night which makes it unusual. Not special with the hands at all. $100 million can change a person's drive or it could just be an off night since everybody has them. Conor will have to fight again before we know.
It's at least made people realise he's not the super special one in a million fighter people make him out to be. When people realise oh wait he's won 1 single fight at 155 and it was against a brawler who lost to cerrone.. You then think Oooh ok. He's by no means a terrible fighter.. But he's also not thy greatest or one of the greatest. I don't see many at 155 he'd beat.. Lucky he's Dana's boy and managed to get as far as he did by facing favourable match ups and smaller guys. Wins over porrier and max would mean A LOT in 2018.. When they happened they were decent
Conor was never as great as the media and all his shenanigans made him to be. He-has-NEVER-once defended a title! His ground game is and always has been weak source. This is MMA not boxing, one dimensional fighters don't belong. He got exposed on Saturday night. Once his straight left can't drop you, his fight is over because that is all he knows. He is a fraud that has been running away from the division for 2+ years!
I've despised Conor ever since Aldo tour. I can't stand bullies. Im a true SJW so i get to fight bullies IRL a lot (people in power, i dont fight them with fists but with words and paragraphs .. :)). It's the same as Rhonda but she was just acting like an arrogant pos. Conor did that too but much much more with his grand bragging persona. But with the bullying he deserved what he got and much worse. Same with Dana and the UFC. The world needs more compassion and the UFC takes bullying mainstream. Being a sociopath should never be the norm. i think the UFC will have to change policy now. Dana is getting attacked by journalists and goes super defensive regarding their promo of the fight. Conor wont be able to do his bullying as much and thus his opponent will no longer be weakened. Well, that's at least what i hope. Imagine an Aldo with a clear mind vs Conor. That would be a fight. All we got was 6s and a lot of hype. Bleh.
You can make McTapper fight Khabib 100 times and he will never beat Khabib.. All Laquinta done better with 1 day notice than McQuiters whole fight camp LMAO
Conor is Irish and never trained wrestling his whole life like Americans. He can dominate at 145 where the guys can't outmuscle him like Khabib. Although I don't know it's look like he might lose to Zabit at this point too.
Khabib fought completely different against Al. Connor would sleep that real estate agent if they ever fought but too bad al is sheet and it'll never happen
Al fought with a defensive stance the whole night. It was obvious Khabib took it easy and practiced his striking against Al. He fought McGregor more seriously and went straight for the takedowns.

I’m Irish, but i knew this whiskey drinking horrible looking Connor was going to lose, this khabib was so patient and smart not to react to Connor, he did a brilliant job, he won the fight, and deserves all the respect, but to seem him jump out was scary, this khabib is a very dangerous ufc fighter but at the same time so humble, now i seen the crazy true side of Muslims, do not swear at their parents or abuse their religion.
How is khabib humble, lol? After what he did after the fight, and the people he got around him, you cant call him humble. He is closly tied to currupt russian politicians that have stolen alot of money, and friends with a dictatorial leader in Chechen that kills and torture's gays.
Was a perfect sides on both parts I automatically believe kahbib was going to take it but Conor should why he was the king but like every ruler they have to step down. I really didn’t expect the overhand to land but it did and that’s when I thought it was over but in round three when they were standing in the middle Conor could have thrown a few more punches to try and rock him great fight in general can’t wait for these two to get back in the ring.
Khabib trains since he is a little kid, those people are miles above everyone else, that is why in shaolin temples they say that if you are 12 years old when you start trainig you are already too old. Khabib not only doesnt lose, if you look at his face at the end of fights its like he didnt even fight, no damage at all.
Remember his faces when he do iv before the fight week? his faces look more bad than after he fought Conor. I mean training camp with training gear give his face more wound than fighting Conor lol
An organization might secretly give leanancy to a top draw fighter but when an organization does it blatantly it's too much for me. One name: Paul daily
McGregor does the same stupid shit every time "Gives his opponent the power of HATE" yes Khabib is a real killer however the UFC is a fighting SPORT. It's much harder to beat someone you respect because you can't go to that dark place in your mind that makes you really want to hurt them. If this was a street fight Khabib would have snapped McGregor's NECK. 💯%
