Conor handles his losses better than most. He loses and he's then seen celebrating like he won a fight. I think he just has such high self esteem and self security that he knows not to take things badly. He accepts them, moves on and continues to learn. There's many fighters who wouldn't show their face for weeks after a loss, but he just steps into the public eye immediately after the loss and doesn't let negativity bother him. I wish I had that type of unshakeable confidence.
@@jccastillo1682 I agree with what he's saying, some fighters lose then their whole careers are over and they never come back Conor is the opposite but he's not the only one like that look at DC who's now Hw champ a lot of people wouldn't be able to lose to the same person twice(Jon Jones) and come back that's the diff between Winners and losers
Tango Nevada my guess is that if he isn’t suspended for long after his hearing with NAC (think it’s the NAC forgive me for getting it wrong if so) he would start training immediately for something in March. That’s my guess either that or he is just busy with his whiskey brand, family, and other Conor things.
@@devildickdeep Sam Joseph I think your half right the majority of podcasts you are just listening to a cupple of people hanging out passing time but when someone like bob lazar or Graham Hancock comes on they can change people's perspective of the whole world
It won't happen until Conor retires, because he doesn't want to shatter his fighting persona. Having to sell fights means he can't be perfectly honest with Joe. When he can be candid, he'll go on the JRE and it'll be one of the highest viewerships of the podcast.
@@InfectedoOG I feel like everything in the entire hour plus that George was talking about dieting could've been said in like 20 minutes. George gave me a new meaning to "beating around the bush".
No shit! I listened to that podcast in my car over a couple days and Lockhart and Joe was talking for so long I forgot Kavanaugh was even on the podcast! Kinda disrespectful. Either have one or the other on!
Connor is a weird guy. He's kind of gone past the point of normality to the point of being a parody of himself. It must be weird at that level. He's more of an idea than a real person
It's not like he needs it dude have you ever seen how many people subscribe to his podcast. Joe says somebody's name on his podcast next thing you know their Instagram and Twitter jumps by a million
josiff explosiff what you’re saying maybe right but then it makes Conor even bigger than Joe in terms of popularity, look at the all fighters’ social media stats before and after they fought Conor, they literally jumped into millions + followers and the very recent case of Khabib.
And you wrote a comment cuz you are the type of guy that wrote that "the type of guy" comment about Tony ferguson who is the type of guy to be the type of guy to be Tony Ferguson
I dont get it they are like motivational speaker we look up to them and shit, but they do fucked up things like alcohol weed and drugs which makes individual's confused, I dont get it, is it that whatever they do theyre not contented with life? And is somewhat lowkey depressed? Answer me!
Conor is too big for this in his head. He does limited media like movie stars it’s weird but everyone does it when they get to a certain level of popularity
Once you get as popular as McGregor or other super famous people, you absolutely HAVE to turn down a ton of media or else A) You will never get to rest, and B) People will burn out on seeing you everywhere. There's only so many times you can answer the same questions and tell the same stories before people get bored and start tuning out. Where he's at now is good for him. If he speaks, everyone wants to hear it, even his haters.
Swamp Trap I don’t think he would have much to say tbh he’s a great fighter and shit talker but I’m willing to bet an interview with him would be as stale as a 2 year old bag of chips
Imagine the Topics Conors Mentality,Aldo Fight,Diaz comeback godly Alvarez Performance fighting Floyd May weather being the most famous fighter off all time
Conor Mcgreor Is groundbreaking man..he is the first irish man to direct his aggression outward outside of his own people..respect an irish man who hates other people more than himself..thats unique
Conor lost his clever wit. Now he's comparable to Colby Covingtons level of trash talk. Look at the Floyd, Diaz, Aldo and Eddie press conferences compared to the most recent ones. He's lost his mojo.
Still waiting for it to happen. That’s be the best podcast ever. Joe would ask him great questions and his reputation would improve. Remember when Kevin Lee was on the show? Same thing would happen
gxRebel Holding on to gloves, holding on to shorts, hooking on to the fence with his hands and feet, and an illegal knee to the head of a downed opponent when Khabib was about to attempt a kimura. Not sure if that's all, just what I noticed
There's a difference between a great fighter and an elite fighter, that what that Conor-Khabib fight showed me. I'd love for Conor to be on the podcast and talk about his experience in this particular fight.
I really hate how they always say he's s got the support of a whole nation, 1 or 2 percent maybe and that would be mainly Dublin based. trust me mma is not very popular in Ireland
What? Its massive its the fastest growing sport in the country, more bjj and mma clubs are opening up in towns all over Ireland. Its constantly in the media also. Do your homework before making judgment, Conor McGregor has inspired many young men and kids to get down to a club and get on the mats.
Jason Delaney look man I've been into martial arts all my life and an mma fan long before Conor showed up and know very few fans of the sport and they're mostly jumping on the Conor bandwagon. Not all martial artists are fans of it either, my brother for example. I'm not denying its growing, Conor has helped with that but I'm a realist and it's nowhere near the most popular sports in Ireland fan wise or participation wise not in the top ten maybe not even top twenty. There's around filthy dedicated mma gyms in Ireland but there's over a thousand cricket clubs! 2 percent of Ireland is about 100 thousand people and that's about right fan wise, Conor mostly and there's certainly not 100 thousand practicing. Now from one mma fan to another, be real ✌️
@@donnchaodalaigh4031 of course it's not the most popular, I said it was the fastest growing which it is. When I was growing up and BTW I'm 26 now there was only really kickboxing clubs which I was lucky enough to be trained from my old man a black belt, but see when I watching MMA back in 2006 around then there was nowhere I could go do wrestling or bjj really without travelling miles. My point is I can find one of these gyms now which is the base of mma pretty easily and close to me. And of course it has a dedicated fan base and following but its in pop culture thanks to Ireland's involvement in the sport with fighters. Go to the gyms and see the amount of kids training compared to when I was younger and then come back and tell me it's not growing fast. I'm as real as they come btw ;)
Jason Delaney. Well my story is pretty similar only karate and kickboxing were within a reasonable distance not the martial arts I really wanted to do so Im a little envious of kids today and The options they have but seriously I stand by my original comment, it does do my nut in listening to American coverage of Conor, they always say he's got a whole nation behind him when it's simply not true and they say it all the time, I wasn't having a go at the sport or Conor or the fact it's growing . Half the country wouldn't even have known he was fighting last month, especially outside of Dublin and more of the other half couldn't give a fuck. I truly hope we get more stars to follow on from Conor and keep martial arts and mma growing in this country otherwise the growth of interest and participation could die off again.
Youre an idiot mate, its not about MMA it doesnt matter how many MMA gyms there are or how many people train it, its about the strong masculine and irish rolemodel that Conor is, he's Irish and hes hugely successfull... nothing else matters. Millions of people love him who think MMA is just boxing with kicks. @@donnchaodalaigh4031
Hey, look its more retarded numpties from one of them paranoid states across the pond.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1QK4bblyfsc.html keep burying them heads and pointing them fingers lads lolol. i bet i see a humbling of you lot on a global scale kinda like mccrackhead/Khabib. but it'll be like america/RESTOFTHEWORLD. lolol americans gonna be like mccrackhead fans before and after the fight bahaha.
Khabib, the guy whos only famous because he beat a fighter who didnt have a fight for over a year. People will still be talking about conor in 20 years, khabib will go the same way as buster douglas.
Joe saying he tried to smooth things over with Tony through "someone else"... Gee I wonder who he's talking about other than his best friend who happens to be Tony's coach lol
Would love to see McGregor do a "leave it all on the table" sort of interview with Joe , get him in give him a few J's and we might see a little bit of Coner
Wasup Fool who was the first person to hold two belts from different weight classes at the same time? Do you think that bothers him with all the money he has ? 😂
Big Connor McGregor fan from Scotland! If Connor and khabib fight for the second time ,i believe Connor wins.I truly believe there was something not right about his mind set ,and demeanour going into the first fight. He has to commit himself like he did ,when he was broke and had nothing ,at the start of his career !!! Love your channel Joe by the way !!😃😃😃👍
Go watch that first fight closer, or listen to the pros behind the scene. Guys like , DC, Matt serra, Chael sonnen said before the fight " ive seen this fight a thousand times, and it ends the same way everytime" khabib made it look way too easy. Hes going to have to go back to 45 or fight scrubs, cuz its hot as hell in 55 right now
@@bartilliak I've watched that fight 20 times now . That 2 year absence effected Connor .no doubt about it .all those guys you've mentioned are quite byist and don't really like him , Matt Sierra hates Connor, Daniel cormier is khabibs friend. I watched a channel ,and this particular fighter ,who sparred with khabib said he couldnt believe how well connor did on the ground , no one seems to give connor any credit ,especially the third round ,he one that in my opinion,if Connor was more sharper ,and had a couple of warm up fights before khabib , the fight would have been much closer !
@Ace Frehley yea I agree 100% !I seen that interview with Nick Diaz , your right the whiskey promotion and what ever else is taken his time up ,is definitely taking its toll on his fighting career .so yes if he dedicates himself again and focuses on his preparation and conditioning ,i feel he wins the rematch ,he's a much better fighter than khabib , in my opinion .also I think khabib knew Connor wasn't ready for that ,after the 2 years off .a couple of warm up fights for connor and hell be ready for the rematch , and hell win too !!
I agree I knew something was wrong when he walked out of tunnel.wwll I heard he was having issues with staff infection.if u look at his neck the days prior too u will see a round wound.also they said he was having kidney issues.and the guy who wrapped his hands for his entire career could not be there so they had some other guy do it and they really fucked up.but I agree he was off .i know he can beat khabib he had perfect defense .got caught with a overhand cause had was waiting for the takedown.took khabibs best shot.still king in my eyes
@@richardsmoczynski5022 yes ! Still the king :) those staff infections are rediculous, Kevin Lee had one when he fought Tony Ferguson . As you said coming out of the tunnel you could clearly see something was of ,and he just didnt seem right in the cage either .well I hope there's a rematch ,and Connor can be 100% ready ,I'm sure he'll win !!
