This was the moment I allowed myself to love Joel. As ASP has said, it was important for the audience to see what it was about Joel that made Midge fall in love with him, or else her entire journey feels cheap.
Should've told the owner about the locking Susie in the closet and refusing to pay midge because she was 10 minutes late. That douchebag can act all 'it was a joke' with them, if his uncle has any common sense or understanding of the word 'maturity' I'd like to see how he'd react to this news and for his nephew to realise that his excuses won't work
I enjoyed it up until he led the way out, nobody who is protecting their loved one would turn their back on a man you’d just punched and an unknown club owner. You let them leave first and follow them out.
