Joey Diaz and Bert Kreischer tell stories about their close friend, comedian Ralphie May. Taken from The Church of What's Happening Now #510 - Bert Kreischer
Remember the joy he brought. That is Ralphie May's Immortality. He will live forever on the net and in the hearts of the people who loved him and his work.
My favorite part is when Lee asked how the doll house was after Ralphie fell on it. What a ridiculous question, it must have exploded. Lee is super funny on the podcasts and it’s great when he does it on accident. I miss Ralphie big time, still can’t believe he’s gone.
Ralphie May became a staple guest of the church. Always cheered me up and made me laugh when I truly needed it the most, we have to stick together church members to keep Ralphies Memory alive and keep Joey tip top magoo in this difficult time. Big up all church members and nothing but love X
Colum Sheridan-Small well said homie ! Uncle Joey gonna need the church family more than ever now. We also gotta get him and Christ Killer to keep healthy n shit. RIP Ralphie OG
My heart was crushed when I heard the news. Crushed. Not many people have made me laugh as hard as Ralphie May. The world is a lesser place without him. I will always Mullet Watch is his honor. Rest In Power Ralphie.
*I love how they're talking about him like he's one of their best friends just like when he was alive. It's much more personal and a great way to focus on happy memories instead of the sad ones*
my heart and thoughts are with all his family and friends... this breaks me so i cant even imagine how hard it is for you all.... we love you guys, if you need anything please reach out... i dont think any of us can handle losing anyone else this year...
Ralphie gave so much. He never held back. He lived by what he said. He brought joy and laughter to others. He lived in a way all people should aspire to.
Ralphie May was a concentrated dose of hilarious humanity. If I ever got stressed out and dragged down by life, I would pick one of Ralphies videos from my favourites playlist and it would bring me back around to normal. I wish I could have called him one of my personal friends so that I could have called him up. No doubt that would have been better than any doctors prescription on a shitty day. Thank you Mr. May. You brought a lot of people joy, humour and happiness in your too short life. Rest easy big man. You will be missed.
I went to Cap City high as GP and sat in the fucking front row. Well it didn’t take long for Raphlie to pick me out and pepper me for a few minutes. It was after last comic so everyone was there for him & it was a badge of honor. He was so cool after the show, gave me props for not being a puss about it. Seemed like such a nice guy w a passion for comedy. I watched him on the church recently & thought how life is fucked up sometimes but you gotta roll w the punches & that’s what he did.
Anybody that can make me laugh and make me forget about how terrible the world is is always a sad loss for me. Ralphie May did an extra great job of that. Rest is peace brother. I'll match you when I see you again.
This hit hard. I saw him live once and watched his shows a lot and I didn't know he was sick and I still can't believe he's gone. I will always miss him and his comedy
I'm so fucking sad, feel like I lost a brother. I feel so blessed to have seen so many Ralphie May moments in time. He is truly a spirit to behold. God Bless all his family and friends. Love all you guys.
The strength in the bond between friends here, and the happiness that they all bring to one another. That for me speaks highly...true friends are very hard to come by and this is what it's all about right here!!!
