John Boat Upgrades - do the basics first
Working on a jon boat I purchased trying to get it ready for the water. I decided with my weight and the luck I have had with the kayak I wanted to get a small john boat. The size and weight isn't much different than a large 12 or 13ft kayak and it is just a whole lot easier to use a jon boat than a kayak. I am putting on the front lights and a battery compartment getting it ready. We will likely use this mainly for setting and retrieving crab traps but who knows where it will take us!
