I merged all these videos together from my first channel and put them up as one nice video. Hopefully this helps you know how to swap the stator on your TX if you’re having trouble with it.
Sadly I couldn’t find any new stators that match online, but I was able to pick my stator up from my JD dealer for only $52. I would recommend doing that as the price is good and your ensured to get the correct one.

Thanks for posting. I did not have to take the starter off for this, but I did drill some holes in the frame to take the bottom two screws of the cover out.

motorambler hey there! I appreciate it! I wish I still had access to said gator to do more videos with. Basically the battery was not being charged by the engine and the engine would run but the battery would not start it. The headlights were dark even with the engine running. Basically behaving similar to a bad alternator on a car.

I have the same gator and cannot find the damn voltage regulator. Does anyone know if it is hidden under the starter? It’s nowhere along the frame, hood or under the seats.

What symptoms was your gator having with the old stator? I have a tx turf gator that's giving me issues I've tried just about everything. The gator runs fine cold when it warms up you hit throttle and it's dies like its out of gas runs good full throttle. Things I've done new coil , new carb new fuel pump new gas lines new starter solenoid new pedal switch, adjusted cables new filters. Any idea what's going on?

You know this gator did that to me too. Idk what it was, but I know that sometimes if you just give it a quick choke when you hit the gas it revs right up to speed. You might need a new carb. Start with putting some seafoam in the gas tank.
