@@YesYou-zy7kp I'm really amused by this assertion that JFK today would be a Republican. I would argue that there are aspects of the current Democratic platform he would either not recognize or support, owing to his Catholic faith, such as abortion and gay rights, but that doesn't mean he'd be a Republican. There's nothing about the current GOP that someone like him would find even remotely tolerable, much less supportable. Their love affair with Russia? Their slavish pandering to Evangelical Christians? Their lack of support for unions, a liveable wage, and workers' rights? He'd sooner piss on them than join up with them.

love affair with Russia? that is delusional, sir. credit to you though for acknowledging that JFK's faith would never have made him comfortable with abortion. and in fact Sargent Shriver, his sister's husband and running mate to McGovern in 1972, was as pro life as any Republican today. and not in a phony "personally opposed to it" manner, he was genuinely opposed to it. also JFK was no socialist like today's Democrats, and would have been sickened by their foolishness. also JFK LOVED America. no, he would have found no home in today's Democrat party.

President Trump was particularly vulgar at times and would take frequent pauses. He was a business man that ran for president. President Kennedy has had a career in politics. 14 years as a senator before he was elected president so it makes sense that President Kennedy new the ins and outs of the law and the economic process. Our current president I don't hate, because I don't attack people only their policies, but there are frequent times when he fumbles his speech to an audience more often than a political figure of United States office should.

Princess Diana is alive! Yes, and it’s time the world begins to awaken to this Truth and so much more. Not only is our beloved Princess still with us, but so is John F. Kennedy, Jr., Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and Lauren Bessette. There’s also a long list of celebrities and entrepreneurs including David Bowie, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, Steve Jobs, and Whitney Houston. So, how does one account for something as unbelievable as this? Well, each person named above, and those whose names haven’t been revealed yet, have their own story, and soon you’ll be learning about it. However, in the meantime, here’s the short version. Each one of these people, at one point, entered into a worldwide witness protection program. Wondering what these individuals needed protection from? It’s something the likes of which the average man or woman has never been confronted with. Although it may sound funny, each one of us will eventually have a role in the “Big Picture,” too. What is it? We need to respectfully listen to their stories and begin to understand the “as yet, unrecognized threat” that humanity has been living amongst. Bottom line is that we must give these brave people an opportunity to tell their stories and face head-on the Truths that we’ll be given in order to protect our families and ourselves now and forever more. Best way for us to complete our responsibility is to have unwavering faith in our Creator, God Eternal.

Alot of political analyst say Nixon won the debate. The problem with Nixon was purely optics. Nixon looked nervous and unsure. If you eliminate the tv coverage, Nixon won the debate.

Now THATS an interview. Please take note US Press. This is how the free press used to truly inform and educate citizens. No sound bites or political bloviating by pundits for hours on 30 second sound bites. Anchors were informed and prepared to challenge and flesh out the truth, but no gotcha questions and didn't feel like politically motivated questions. And the news wasn't corporately sponsored and didn't start out with "BROUGHT TO YOU BY....ABC COMPANY" Can't stand modern cable news. Feel dumber every time I tune in.

It's obvious that to do a reasonable job in high public office you need to have a deep understanding of history, economics, loyalty to country, international law, human behaviour and be an eloquent speaker. Ordinary people don't get a start, which is great. You should be extraordinary ! Donald Trump is like a polyester jacket with flared pants from the early 70's. JFK is like a 1957 corvette being driven in the summertime, on a country road with a beautiful young blonde woman beside you.

This program shows just how truly great that generation was, and how far things have fallen, especially in the area of public discourse and civility. It is entirely unimaginable to perceive a program like this today, no matter the political party represented by the guest. The nation has been sorely poorly served by its public figures beginning from the 1990s. At the end of the day, the blame lies squarely with the Boomers.

Another trivia point in regards to JFK. He was the youngest man to be elected President of the USA but not the youngest man to be President of the United States. That honor goes to Theodore Roosevelt who became President at the age of 42 upon the death of McKinley. JFK was 43.
@ferabra8939
@ferabra8939 9 лет назад
True. Had William Jennings Bryan won in either 1896 or 1900 he would have been the youngest President. He was 36 and 40 years old.

To say that Obama is a constitutional scholar is risible. He has been rebuked by the Supreme Court 9-0 thirteen times in the last two years. Obama taught constitutional law at night but wrote no scholarly articles. Scholars publish.

@FunnyBoxing1
@FunnyBoxing1 8 лет назад
JFK would demolish most of them. He read several newspapers a day and had facts for everything. He had 60 or so press conferences as President, and the newsmen tried to find obscure stories which he did not know, and he knew them all. Small stories about communities in small states. He was an amazingly sharp man. He studied and read so much.
@cellsdoni5968
@cellsdoni5968 7 лет назад
He also used EO's to dodge dialogue with house and congressional members on his decisions. A person well versed in constitutional law should be able to articulate his position on any of his decisions. Also, Ronald Reagan said in a campaign commercial that he followed JFK's model of aiding the small business community by lowering taxes.
