When this song came out in the 1970s, I was 16 / 17 years old. This song has been with me all my life ever since, and today I think: why couldn't this beautiful time be captured, why has this wonderful time been so long gone? AWESOME.Heard this on the radio yesterday for the first time in a few years,then decided 2 utube it.This video is just great.I still have the original REBEL LP from1976,it only comes out the sleeve about every 5 years.This has 2 b 1 of the best songs ever written.JM is getting better with age.Still brings a tear to my eyes.FANTASTIC.

I heard a very small part of this song on the radio in "86 and looked for it for ages till i heard it again and found out it was John Miles.Excellent song made all the better with John's voice.Believe it or not today is the first time i ever seen his face. Brilliant song!!!!

I remember our choir perfoming this song together with a band from school for those who graduated in that year (must have been '97). We had no orchestra, so we sung some of the orchestra parts. The greatest thing we ever did, it was so overwhelming *sigh* :)
