Developed in collaboration with legendary shredmeister John Petrucci, this pick is designed to complement his huge sound and the intricate passages he's famous for playing. It projects volume and depth thanks to Ultex®, and its uniform bevel allows John to move from string to string with ease.

😂😂😂😂 IKR? Though to be honest, John's Sterling by MusicMan guitars cost between $500 and $900; reasonable prices for most players.

Just want to share my story about these fantastic picks. I started playing guitar earlier this week and was really struggling to play Smoke on the Water. Well, I just tried these picks today and now I can play Dance of Eternity backwards at 300 BPM! Thanks Dunlop!

you just started playing guitar and now you can play a song backwards???? I've played for two weeks now, and all I can do are a few guitar riffs and guitar solos because plucking is easy for me, and I still have a hard time properly barring the strings when doing a chord like F, and I still have to learn how to play power chords properly. HOW???????????????

I just got a 3 pack of these to try them. My favorite picks so far and my Dunlop Delrin 2.0mm I've used for years are resting for now. These really do everything John said. I've always struggled with alternate picking and these have helped a lot.

RU-vid is creating a lot of that lately. I also find a lot of the so called experts on RU-vid will come across an idea, whether it's a pick, or a way to set your delay, and magically it's a brand new amazing discovery, even if the idea has been around for a long time, and for most of us, just basic guitar knowledge. I've found RU-vid is mostly aimed at new/amateur players who are still in full discovery mode, buying up everything that they think may make them a better player. That goes for the majority of the RU-vid content creators too. It's crazy good marketing. All the $ is made there. Those of us that have discovered what works generally stop constantly searching for the new magic pedal and focus more on proper practice, trying to make the next hour of playing as effective as possible. I also find that great educators for guitar are few and far between on RU-vid. Though there are some amazing lessons on here, if you take the time to search for them. Sadly, time away from playing and practicing. For any of you new players out there. I strongly recommend buying and playing lots of picks. It's amazing how many times can be created with just changing the pick. You may even play a little differently, which creates new inspiration. And compared to pedals and software plugins, picks are far less expensive, from 50cents to $30. It's an inexpensive way to tone chase, and fun to research what your heros use, and may help you see why they play like they do. Good luck

I wonder how it compares to the prime tone picks...those have been my go-to for awhile because they last for weeks, even months. Me personally that’s what I want in a pick, something that lasts. I hope to try this new one out soon though! It looks great, size wise and thickness wise too.

I don't think anything's gonna get me to switch from the max grip jazz III's but I'm always excited to try out a new Petrucci pick, the old Petrucci picks never did it for me, if I angled my finger wrong when playing they'd fly out of my hand. Edit: Out of curiosity I went and tried one of the old Petrucci picks (the black JP shield ones) and played some of the cleanest leads I've ever played, maybe my picking technique's improved and they won't fly out of my hand, who knows.

Sort of reminds me of 'Blue Chip Picks' 'BC Jazz Model'. A great pick but 30 bucks a piece. Kind of like the Red Bear pick idea. Thicker picks sound warmer with a softer attack. I always thought Andy James had terrible tone though, very shrill and harsh.
@XChristianNoirX

If this pick is too fluid, it's really easy to sand down and make sharper. The grip was awesome but it's just do fluid it couldn't grip the string as my a as I liked and didn't have enough of a sharp attack. It was also pretty decent to pick leads fast, but was way too buttery for rhythm.
