A notable characteristic of the "silent majority" is the amount of noise they make. How anyone can describe Ian Dale, Nick Ferrari, Rachel Johnson, Tom Swarbrick etc as loony left is beyond me - especially when they are saying it on LBC where their voices are never heard. Beyond parody.

I've been a long time defender of a Weighted Voting system. The higher your IQs, the more votes you get to cast. You are 80 or under? 1 vote You are 80-100? 2 votes You are 100-110? 4 votes You are 110-120? 6 votes etc etc So we still have these guys still have a voice, but we don't let them rule. Lee Anderson was a striking NUM miner in the 80s (I work with people he personally called "Scab"), he was a Labour councillor and Gloria De Piero's constituency manager. He's the very definition of a career politician, he told people what he thought they wanted to hear to get elected and is now trying to set himself up as a media mouthpiece for when he's inevitably kicked out.

The problem with those that claim to be the "silent Majority", is They are usually the opposite of both those descriptors, But it's a common trait for them, other classic examples they use is the term common sense for opinions that are far from both, and the term I Think, when very little or no thought went into the opinion they are about to express.

James O'Brien is the ONLY LBC journalist holding the Conservative Government to account and ALL the others are either fully and unquestioningly supportive of the Conservative Government, slightly left of the Conservative Government or a centrist. Even David Lammy MP struggles with his party's ethos (opposing and holding the Conservative Government to account) with his employer's rules and regulations at LBC.
