I'm really glad you enjoyed JW4 and the special features! I was one of the 4 editors that worked on the behind-the-scenes and it was a massive project to be a part of. Watched the 4K last weekend as I didn't see in theaters. You mentioned it several times, but the cinematography is incredible with sweeping and super unique camera moves and angles with spectacular lighting. Loved it. The desert scenes were unbelievably rich with deep saturation and textures. Chapter four was awesome to watch and I agree, didn't feel like three hours. Watching your review makes me want to pop this back in and watch tonight. Incredibly entertaining experience and thank you for giving props to the crew. The crew worked their asses off and it clearly shows here. I've worked on several independent films and it's no easy task, but fun as hell and worth it. Thank you man. You have the perfect blend of film fan from the technical and art form sides, the fanboy and down to earth dude you'd hang out with watching films at home.

I prefer 1 and 2 in the series, but 4 had cinematography that puts some arthouse films to shame. Noticed it immediately and thought they'd back off as the story carried on, but it got better!!!

I saw this in a newly renovated IMAX theater and it was incredible. The ceiling was shaking for the entire club scene. Wish i had that kind of setup at home.

my 5.1.4 at home with oled was also shaking with john whick, i do think i want to see it again. IT took me a full on 2 years to piece everytihng together + 10 years to wait for oled to get better and for me to get myself togeher with a job lol. Finally got it all done :D totally worth the wait

This movie is definitely in the 4k hall of fame! The film and cinematography are breathtaking on my OLED. Better than the theater. The audio is just incredible if you have a good system. This 4k is a piece of art. Thanks for the review!

The John Wick franchise is an odd creature in the sense that so much attention to detail was spent on the action choreography and technical details, whereas stuff like the DCU and MCU are visually incomprehensible.

You are right, I didn't even realize this movies almost 3 hours -- the transfer is amazing and great pace. On the other hand, Avatar WOW, which was also great DID seem like a 3 hour movie - i think that one would have been better if they had cust 30-60 minutes out of it.

As much as I love John Wick, Part 3 almost jumped the shark at the very end. Then part 4 made sure to make it clear this is now a super hero story. It almost completely took me out. That whole 'metaphor' of him falling/rolling down that whole set of stairs, had my entire theater laughing. It was cringe. Of course the action is really second to none.

Phenomenal movie just some of the choreography urked me like when he fights 50 guys going up the stairs and when he reaches the top and gets kicked down but all the people he fought are now gone lol and he falls for about a mile

I watched it & didn't even realize it was almost 3 hours. So many movies overstay their welcome, this did not. The games the overhead shots reminded me of was Hotline Miami & OTXO. The Wachowski's used that shot for Bound & Matrix Reloaded too.

My friend brought the movie to my house last weekend. We saw it on my Samsung KS8000 and just wow, the visuals are amazing. Even with just a Sonos Beam the sound is great. I have to pick up my own copy.

Definitely one of the best movie to come out. The last installment in 4K is just so good. Each chapter gets better and better even though it’s the most unrealistic fight scenes ever made.

I knew from the get go I wanted to get this in a steelbook. Lo and behold the best buy exclusive steelbook. It has the best cover art IMO with a slip cover, 4k and decked out with all the features, the blu ray and digital copy

The John Wick series is the only reason I bother with 4K anymore. It shows you what a format can be. Unfortunately, most 4ks aren’t a real upgrade over blu ray.

I do love the HDR grade. Amazing colours and HDR impact. No offence though, but I think it'd look even better if you upgrade from your LG A1 to a newer C or G tv. The higher peak brightness of those TVs really helps HDR stand out MUCH more.

Apparently, the Hong Kong UHD release of John Wick 4 uses a different video and audio source. Think you should pick it up and do a comparison. I bought the Hong Kong standard bluray.

I have all john wicks digitally but i definitely want to add it to my collection. I just bought a Sony UMP-X800M2 from eBay in great condition for $160. Seller still had the box and everything... I love it im getting back into collecting physical media because you just never know the future of streaming.. i will just buy john wick 4 4K because its my favorite. I will get 1-3 regular Blu-ray 📀😊
