Johnny Gat Actually Makes A Good Point... 

I like how Johnny remembers his old homies. Shows how much he was loyal to them and after SR1 i think it somehow broke him. He went through a lot in SR2.

To be honest this dialogue really sums up the whole Saints Row 1 story.

These conversations were amazing to hear in general. "Don't forget your roots" and all. The fact Johnny still sees it as Julius betraying *them* shows the original purpose of the Saints truly was lost to minds of Johnny and Playa. Julius made a monster and not only failed to stop it, but his digital ghost now is stuck with them. "Clean up the streets" became "Stain the streets red". Vice Kings wearing purple indeed.

This dialogue is better than anything in the reboot

It's really saying something when a fictional character like Johnny Gat remembers his own life story Canon continuity. To be fair Troy Bradshaw was the only straight good cop in the 3rd Street Saints, the man was more loyal to the gang than the corrupt Stilwater police department.

Only way now left to revive the SR franchise is to go back in time make it a prequel and the story is about Julius and Ben and their rise to power

Even tho Troy was a part of bringing the saints down he was still loyal to the gang even after the gang fell apart seeing as he kept the boss on life support after the boat explosion in SR1

Keith David voices Sergeant Foley from COD MW2 and as I was playing COD today, it suddenly dawned on me that this is Julius' voice actor.

yeah i remember this dialogue.... lets not forget i think there is dialogue between julius and Maero or cyrus arguing about how they fail to trapped the boss and blame each other.

The voice actor is Keith David (he voiced spawn ,Julius,the president from rick and morty, dr faciller,etc) that’s why he sounds so familiar

julius had the loyalty of many making a once guy who would just listen and barley talk a crazy psycho killer he made a monster he had power over people who had so much dangerous potential he got carried away they would stop if he said the word he was not the great people think of him he says the saints become vice kings with purple but ben king was a smart guy who tried to not be violent as possible he had somewhat good intentions not saying he is good but he more reasonable ideas but he had unloyal people around him but julius did he abused them and he got what's coming to him

I found a glitch on the first Saints Row game if you're interested in making a video on it, if you load a save file from the main menu screen, exit the game and start a new game, you will start the new game with a few unlockables from the previous file, the unlockables which will carry over will be the unlocked weapons and the infinite sprint, I think the unlocked clothing carries over too

Gat is just the best character is Saints Row So much so that they gave him his own DLC & an eventually return later in the series 😊

I don’t get why Johnny is pissed off about Troy. Sure he was an undercover cop that was responsible for the fall of the original Saints. But he more than redeemed himself for it several times over. He kept Johnny alive and unharmed in death row from all the guards and inmates after becoming the chief of police despite the assassination attempt Johnny nearly pulled off on him years before. He never wanted to arrest any members of The Saints and instead just wanted to convince them to quit and go straight to live normal lives. He is the entire reason why The Playa/Boss survives the boat explosion at the end of SR1 and endlessly chews Julius out for causing it. (Which would be the second time that Troy saved the Playa’s life. The other time being in the opening cutscene of SR1 that Julius always tries to take credit for.) He has strict orders for the entire Stillwater police force (Except Ultor) to leave The Saints alone unless they are actively going around killing or whatnot. But the other gangs are open season. He even leaves a trail of evidence for The Boss to learn about Julius’s betrayal and find him and Dex. Dex saw it coming a mile away but Julius got his comeuppance. Basically, there’s a fine line between a narc like Troy doing his job but still wanting the best for his former friends to live free and helps them in any way he can, and a Micah Bell.

Funny because SR4 was meant to be the last DLC to SR4 but the studio needed money so they made 4 as a full price stand alone game from rumors i heard

I decided to finish sr4 yesterday, and overall its still a pretty good game even though id rank 3 above it, now knowing the plot of 1 and 2 through wayching the playthroughs id say 3 and 4 are still pretty good games on their own, even though storywise and themewise they have been completely separated from their predecessors

Julius created the "monster" The Boss became (I play with integrity to the point I carry shock paddles to revive people). They didn't deserve it. How does he go from being proud to thinking The Boss can't be controlled? Who or what got to him? He makes no sense. Things could've ended up better because Troy was getting The Boss and Johnny a pardon. But because of Julius' actions, nobody was there to talk sense into Gat, so he shot Troy and ended up in jail, and The Boss cut a path of destruction because they're hurting from the betrayal. My Boss' voice puts it bluntly in idle talk: "None of this shit would've happened if it wasn't for Julius." The three gangs that took over were far worse, and that's on Julius.

I still think that if Julius had talked to Johnny and the Playa they would've dropped their flags. Johnny might've kept killing people but that's bc you can't take murdering away from Johnny, as for the playa I can't say for certain but I believe they would've done it out of respect for the people who saved his life that day. I love the first two game's story and I'm glad to see some of the writing is still present in the form of the homie interactions of older characters
