My husband does everything I do around the house most of it better. 🤣 He’s former military so he’s “squared away” as they say. He never liked the helpless husband stereotype. I once went on a trip with my mom and sisters. Not only was the house spotless when I got back but he and the kids had organized my closet! Over achiever 🤣

I've never really understood this one. Literally everytime I go in public with both babies, people comment on how my hands are full, or how busy I must be. Just yesterday a random lady got out of her car to yell in the parking lot "your doing a great job momma! We see you!" Maybe I'm just struggling more than other moms 🙃 but the same comments get made to my husband. It's strange, but neither one of us feel offended by it.

I took my kids to the mall food court once years ago and there was this crowd of people gathered around these young parents and their kids. I had no idea what was going on so I asked someone. They were influencers doing a meet and greet. They were surrounded by people and the mom was holding a baby and there was a two year old boy running around. This little boy just ran off and the parents were so distracted by their “fans” that they didn’t notice. Some of the people in the food court were looking back and forth at each other wondering what they should do as this baby is running out of the food court. I ran after him and brought him back to his parents. They didn’t even notice he was gone until I handed them their kid. Any of the people waiting in line could’ve taken him and they wouldn’t have known. Anyone watching in the food court could’ve taken him. The lack of awareness was so scary.

My adoptive daddy always did our laundry, dishes, outside work, etc. he even did all the driving. he also made sure we helped around the house as much as possible. The only thing he couldn’t do was cook. He still can’t. My mom and I always did the cooking. Funny part is my husband can’t cook but he sure does do his share around the house. My parents made sure we knew what an equal balance of housework was.

I am starting to think maybe Alicia is one of those people who don't want to teach the kids life skills and responsibility and tries to sabotage their health and development so that when they are older they still have to rely on her and she can still get the rush of feeling needed / getting praise for all of her hard work. I was raised by narcs so I have a deeper understanding of these things.

My husband works 50+ hours a week. I don't expect him to do household chores if I am home. I make sure dinner is about ready for him and the kids because he also picks them up and brings them home after work. However, there are days I am just not feeling it and he cooks and cleans without complaining. Sometimes On his day off if we are not going somewhere together, I dread going shopping because as soon as he gets bored my house gets moved around! My kids also have to do a chore to earn money for things they want because I teach them that nothing is free, and I want them to learn how to grow and be responsible. I love watching your channel, it definitely makes me laugh, but I also think a lot of people can learn from the advice you give and I Iove that you're giving these kids a voice!

Brees 12th birthday video is a mess everybody’s gonna have food poisoning cause alusha doesn’t know how to wash her hands properly or enough… when she scrubbed her floor with a paper towel then proceeded to touch everything that was it for me never would eat a thing out of her kitchen.. can you imagine giving 12 kids food poisoning 😢

Maybe if they have to pay $21k for IVF to have those blessings after multiple miscarriages and didn’t just keep popping them out in litters, they would care…???? MK just leaving them out in the hot damn car while she swims. Leaves them in their cribs screaming w gross diapers while she sleeps in for hours on end. Guess you don’t care when the babies seemed to have just come along suddenly. I can’t. your so right! men in america get praised for doing the bare minimum. but my daughters father is amazing! since day one he's always tried to split everything down the middle with me. he cooks when i can't, helps do laundry, he'll let me sleep in and get up with her some days so i can get some rest & he works 45 hours a week. i'm so glad i picked the right man to have a baby with bc i seriously couldn't imagine doing it alone. i give props to people who raise their children alone. it's hard with help, but so much harder when you don't have that help ❤️😫👏

Josh - I sadly know from experience that a calf tear can precede an Achilles rupture. Make sure you are getting lots of massage (for scar tissue) and rehab on that calf and wait for it to fully heal.

Yes, a deep tissue massage with a physical therapist/sports medicine is so helpful. I’ve had multiple surgeries on my Achilles tendons since age 2. Tore my gastroc (one of calf muscles) 2 years ago, didn’t rest the way I should have and pushed it too far one day and my Achilles ruptured. You gave great advice ☺️. Feel much better Josh!

The reason they have not and probably will not buy a washer and dryer is because they want people to feel bad for them for how much laundry "they" do... a savior complex. They want to be commended for "how hard they have it" for taking kids in. My parents are the same and have adopted.

I have an amazing husband! Yeah, took a little while, his mom did me no favors. He really came into his own. Tbf, I am a spoiled housewife and he works, though. He still does laundry, takes garbage out, cuts grass, shovels snow, but now with my cancer he’s doing the lion’s share around here. He’s my hero. Wouldn’t make it without him. Love him to bits! 🥰

Your story about your wife and the vent is funny. I remember when I asked my husband where cucumbers come from...he still doesn't let me live that one down even 17 years later. I also remember our first year of marriage, hubby was at work, I thought I would clean the house and make it nice for him when he got home so I decided to clean our hardwood floor with furniture polish, went back in the kitchen for a snack and I went flying in the air, I was also pregnant at the time. I also wanted to feed my hubby healthy food so I took all the fat off a pack of drumsticks and baked them, pulled them out of the oven and they all had just a teeny tiny piece of meat on them lol...I could write a book about all the stupid things I did when i was younger, like putting dish soap in the dishwasher and flooding the kitchen, boy have I learned a lot thank goodness and thank the lort hubby stuck with me lol.

I have OCD when it comes to laundry. I wash all my thin clothes like underwear, shirts, gowns, etc together on cold wash. My heavy clothes like sweats and jeans and sweatshirts on cold and all my whites on streaming hot with bleach and soap. My towels on warm. I can't stand to see people mix all their clothes together when they do laundry. It's insane. I have to go to the laundry mat I have a messed up pipe and they have to dig from outside and I agree that they are expensive

Around the same time that laundry video came out, there was a grocery haul with extended car-talk-time with A. During the shopping and the driving she sneaked in 75% of all things you and other commentary channels has talked about. She even said «no we don’t need that, we have some at home» in the shop. When has that ever stopped her from filling her cart. So yeah, they are trying to prove you wrong, to get more views. Before she would answer criticism with doing more of the same shit, now she tries this. BTW, english is not my first language, so I sometimes have to google how to spell words. When I tried to find the correct spelling of criticism, guess what came up after typing only the letters «criti»? Criticism of Dougherty Dozen 😂

Here to take you up on the offer to brag about my husband. I'm 29 weeks pregnant and he has been amazing. From letting me remind myself it's okay to take a break from doing house chores (I'm a clean freak) and making dinner, to asking me what I need help with around the house or if anything needs to be put away, he has been amazing. Hes been taking care of the cats even more now. He loves showing off my belly and telling everyone I'm pregnant, he's so excited to be a dad. He loves being a part of my journey and always asks how I'm feeling, how work is going. It's winter here so he always holds me until I make it to the car so I don't slip. He is making our baby crib. He is definitely my best friend, coach, and support human.

My husband works full time at the city of Tucson and owns his own business. He owns a car mechanic shop. He comes home from work at the city and then goes to the business and works. Gets home late. So I never ask him to do much in our house. I handle the kids and housework

My husband does the outside chores except picking up dog poop. He occasionally cooks but leaves a big mess and he likes to go grocery shopping because he has food issues from growing up poor and going hungry sometimes. Since I don’t work I do everything else. I wish he was more active raising our daughter I felt like a single parent lots of the time and got a part time job so I could get a break and then never heard the end of how horrible it was I worked so when the store closed didn’t get another job!

I almost died when the machines were stuffed with all colors! 😅 the music in the background was in the laundromat but someone should have talked over it because of rights to music. Somebody probably ended up with green blue underwear.😂

I married a Canadian and he is super huggable! He also does household chores just like I do because we share a home. He does load the dishwasher because he can fit twice as much in it than I can. He is a self proclaimed "dishwasher Tetris" expert. Josh, I laughed so much at the facial expressions the filter and you were giving during the vanilla roast. It was so funny!

I’m with Kathy on being the safety officer of the house! We have a sectional and the ottoman piece is over a furnace vent if put together properly… So it sits two feet away from the rest of the couch in the winter now 😆 don’t hate us for worrying about your safety! 😂😂

Alicia does buy expensive things like Nike shoes, matching outfits, designer athletic wear, gold jewelry, etc. Sadly, the family has never been taught how to care for their belongings. It’s not a shared value in their home. The kids usually look like ragamuffins due to their unkept hair- Alex for example. I’m sure Josh still works so they have health and dental insurance. 100% they should be in a bigger house with a cafeteria style kitchen and commercial laundry room like the Duggars have. DD claims they don’t do laundry at home due to their septic tank, which should already be fixed by now.

My partner is a wonderful partner/father. He did start out hopelessly incompetent, but he made the effort and learned how to split the work. Beyond that, when I got hurt at work, he took over nearly all the physical roles and supported me in going to college to start a new career that is safe for me. He took care of me for a year in between, never left my side. Shout out to you, Scott.
