Its as if they were brainstorming this episode, and someone asked about current trends in cooking shows. Someone brought up the conversion of traditional dishes into vegetarian options, and Josh stood up screaming, "The opposite!"
@@LightLoveAngelArt I realized that too after commenting! Lol. I think it was due to the sponsors from the episode, and I actually find it quite funny.
Well, Josh did say he's doubling up his protein, so maybe there will be more to this series. I'm thinking the next step is all meat pizza, but not the kind you know. The bread is meat, crust is meat, cheese meat will be a thing
Kroger: "how will you advertise our new healthy brand?" Josh: "I'm gonna make a meat burrito" Kroger: "aaah like a healthy steak burrito?" Josh: "I guess I could put meat inside it as well" Kroger: "...wait..."
GAGAGAGAGAAGAG this is wonderful! PRANK! It is terrible! I looked in the mirror and saw something UNPRETTY: my face. GAGAGAGAG! But I am happy again because I have TWO HOT GIRLFRIENDS and I make cool YT videos with them! Good evening, love and peace, dear jo
Josh really made meat+yoghurt sound super weird when actually savory yoghurt sauces for meat is perfectly normal. You just like... dont use sweetened yoghurt.
Normally I think videos with heavy sponsorship are kinda annoying and/or forced, but Josh and the Mythical Kitchen are so captivating and creative that I didn’t mind the advertising! They did a good job with actually incorporating the sponsorship. Thank you Josh for this very informative video haha
I second the julien rep, ever since Jenna left RU-vid. I have been craving more julien recipes and he makes some sick vegan recipes, and gluten free recipes adhd trans fam unite!
I genuinely thought Josh was going to say that it's time to put away the dumpster fire that was 2020 and light a whole new dumpster on fire for this year, lol.
Can i just say I literally had a dream where someone said chicken tortilla, but emphasized that “the tortilla was made of chicken”. I’m losing my mind over this
*The rest of the entire world: -Let's try to make more plantbased foods, you know cut down on our meatconsumption for various reasons... *Meanwhile in the mythical kitchen: -...
Cows are good for the environment. They can literally make useless soil into soil where you can have plants growing. And those plants can then sequester carbon, which helps the environment. There are carbon negative ranches, that sell beef.
@@nioxic77 but most beef is the worst meat environment wise. By a lot. So until the majority of ranches are carbon neutral or carbon negative cows are not really good for the environment.
@@violetskies14 somebody sponsored a company called crowd cow on the US, I'm obsessed! They even tell you which specific farm the meat is coming from. Carbon neutral also!
I’m a doula and I’ve seen a couple hundred births, several C-sections, and I make placenta capsules from clients’ placentas for their recovery (SCIENCE!), yet the thought of raw chicken literally gives me anxiety.
I was thinking this exactly! Seeing him touching the blender, bag of cheese etc after handling the raw chicken was making my skin crawl... let's hope they just edited out the 500 handcwashes required to film this!
It’s so funny to me that I have been watching Rhett and Link for over 10 years and never could have imagined getting so much joy out of a Kroger sponsorship. My sister and I grew up watching these guys and she has worked for Kroger for some years now.. It’s just so funny to us how much they love Kroger because we feel the same. Anyway, great episode! So glad this is a show
It’s the year of unnecessarily shortening words Josh two seconds later: caramelization, unsheathe, guacamole, rotating, wolverine, avocados, free shavacado, ect
You just got my wife to really like this show. "Free shavocado" has been a joke with us for years since a friend called us asking what it was. She saw it on a sign, so we went to go look and almost died laughing when we saw it said fresh avocado. We always say free shavocado when cutting avocados.
My Greek yogurt recipe. 1/4 cup of whole milk unflavored Greek yogurt. 1/4 cup of canned pumpkin. Sometimes I might add a 1/8 tsp of ground clove, ground nutmeg, ground ginger and cinnamon.🤗
Haven't been watching Mythical Kitchen much lately but as an old GMM fan it's great to see Kroger finally sponsored them in some capacity, with all the taste tests that Kroger seemed good in!
I've been watching Rhett and Link eat your nightmarish creations for a while now but these last 2 episodes on Mythical Kitchen have disgusted me in a way a cooking show never has before. I'm impressed, Josh. Keep up the good work, you're goin places, kid
I made an all meat burrito shell like 15 years ago, it was ago. No almonds or cheese. I took a flank steak, cut it in half to make a thin sheet. Pineapple marinade to tenderize it. Filled it with thin slices of flank and refried beans. after rolling used toothpicks to keep it from unravelling during baking. during baking used the marinade to season it and caramelize the 100% meat tortilla. My friends dad told me it was the greatest ever in food. You're late to the idea as probably I am as well, I just used only meat.
The second I saw this notification pop-up on my phone I clicked on it this better be good because I was watching some very very important research on Pokémon “ya research” OK yeah the video was worth it now I’m gonna go back to my research
Behold, the burrito packed with so much protein, it's the only Americanised Mexican food that doesn't give you the runs. You ain't poopin' for a week after that.
Am I the only one a little oddly proud, like a parent, everytime I see a Kroger sponsorship? GMM taste tests have had a lot of surprising wins for Kroger brands. You guysss, I'm so proud of you!
Honestly I get a bit annoyed when sponsors only operate in one country. There's been so many times that I've actually been interested in a sponsor, only to find out it's not available in my country even if the channel they're sponsoring is based in my country. Why would they invest so much in advertising on an international platform if they only want to sell to one country? If they invested in regular RU-vid ads instead, their ads would only be seen by the people who are actually in their target region.
In sweden there's a pretty new company that makes frozen pizzas that have the "bread" made out of chicken, for a keto friendly lifestyle they also have a keto vegetarian option made from kale
Is this the moment when Ian Malcolm pops up and says that you were so focused on if you could make an all-meat burrito that you never stopped to ask if you should?
Hello Josh and the mythical kitchen crew, as a lasagna expert myself I’ve noticed that this dish that has basically changed my life, has never gotten love on the mythical kitchen. Is there anyway you could make a really expensive one or one that defies tradition ? So I can live vicariously thru you
The fre shavaca do got me. I must have watched that a million times and cannot look at an avocado and not say it. Thank you for letting me know I’m not the only one who still does that.
My favorite guac is just avocado, onion, garlic, tomato, lemon or lime or vinegar, salt, a pinch of sugar, a little fresh basil, if I have some (😯) (I know,I know🙄), & sour cream or yogurt. Wholly also makes a nice guac.
