@@rosesnviolets7444 "Best arc" As in the one were nobody could actually write natural conflict so they had a bunch of random people get added into the story only to have them act completely unreasonably and inconsistently with what they were established to be like, just to set up a hollow climax? ...very good arc, yes.
@@jeremyhearne yeah, but that fusion of Jesus Christ and Adolf Hitler (lovingly referred to as Adus Christler) nearly sent the world into a new ice age. If Schlatt hadn't had passionate sex with Margaret Thatcher's clone that would have never happened.
Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated? I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else. Gets me frustrated. Just admit that you love the videos I make, my dear yi
Its going to get to the point where deep undercover covert ops will take place over the course of a year to find out which people on twitch are dream stans. Ahhh, its just like being back in 1999 again.
"I never thought I'd hear it again. The triumphant theme as the Ram evicted the voices of many who supported that country. But I was wrong. The ram has his horns, and they seem to have just further sharpened."
@J __ @J __ basically, Wilbur founded it out of a drug van, they reenacted Hamilton to gain independence, got taken over by Schlatt, renamed to Manberg (because they take no Ls), promptly took a massive L to Wilbur's exile nation (Pogtopia), and then became L'Manberg again after Schlatt had a stroke and died
idec bruh i thoroughly and unironically enjoyed watching the entirety of it it was just so surreal and funny to me watching this man make a drug van in a block game and making a nation out of it
I was there for the 2nd purge. The first one was filled with screams while gold ore and pick axes fell like bombs across a field of chaos. I didn't question it. I said to myself, "this is the path they chose, I didn't do this!"
I fell asleep mid stream, can't believe I missed that. Well I'm glad I don't got the bird app either, would've been compelled to submit a thing of my room. I wouldn't have been banned, but 'Schlatt' would have talked so much shit about the dishes in my room.
I'm glad he does this, somebody has to teach these kids (and sadly adults too) that they are not friends with streamers, they are merely viewers if entertainment, if you walk up to them on the street they will be uncomfortable with your presence. You consume content and enjoy it nothing more, nothing less.
nah mate tbh they're just a bit cringe and no one really wants em in schlatts community. Maybe some of them have parasocial relationships but schlatt banning them from his stream ain't gonna change much, just people who think they're friends with him, which is few and far between since his fanbase is about 70% SMP Live ppl, 5% DSMP ppl, 5% "A Tribute to Minecraft" ppl, and 20% just finding him randomly through the algorithm.
"The Jester is here to entertain, for her Highness is a cruel lady that will not hesitate to go for the heads of those who fail her. So can't a jester feel relief and happiness when others laugh at his work? At what he wanted them to laugh at all along?" Along with "You never mess with a jester who knows how to do their job, otherwise when they wear the face of comedy and tell a joke on your behalf, you will wear the face of tragedy and will be the buttocks of everyone's jokes. Never mess with a jester, for they have their ways."
@@MONNSTROSITY yeah, that's quite a reach. It's like saying "if you have a merch of a famous person you follow, then you must think that you're friends with them." hence being called to be in a parasocial relationship. Like I get it, it's weird, but people who hate something tend to generalize the whole audience, which is a bit unfair, but undertandable since unfortunately there are people/stans in any popular thing that goes beyond the normal, especially in the big popular ones. The worst thing is these stans are louder, and best option to not deal with is to just shut down any interaction with them, including even the actual and decent fans. (For anyone wondering, for me stans are different to fans, stans are toxic.)
I don't think having a flag is a parasocial relationship the first purge though was justified as if you have a streamer/stan username then it's a parasocial relationship
Imagine being a dream stan who survived the first purge by way of not having a cringe username, only to turn around and send in your real twitch name with a photo of a flag from the thing that caused the first purge and thought to yourself "there is no way this could go wrong" like, what did you expect?????
Maybe cause they put it up a while ago, among many other decorations from other fandoms, and weren’t thinking about it. Because some people decorate their rooms with things they like. Doesn’t make them a toxic fan. It makes them someone who likes to decorate and also happens to like things. This second ban was far more ridiculous than the first ban. Usernames imply parasocial behavior. Flags imply nothing of the sort.
To be fair he talked to Tommy on stream like- immediately after the purge. Honestly a lot of Dream SMP fans just found the purge funny and continued watching in my experience. Or they wanted to see him make a joke about the flag/they wanted to see if they’d get banned. In my experience the schlatt fans are usually slightly more sane because the real deranged fans can’t take a joke and view him as problematic over nothing. Well except the people sexualizing him, they can get… weird.
All I know about Dream is that he's a guy that plays minecraft and that he cheats sometimes. I've never seen one of his videos. I've never even heard of this flag, let alone seen it. I don't know what an smp is. I don't know why everybody in this community is named Stan. I could not be more in the dark about this topic, and yet these purges bring a smile to my face.
Wow, didn't that that was happening. Literally just found his channel few months ago and i know nothing bout this. Tbh i kinda enjoy his manhunt tho, scipted or not.
Schlatt, our holy god has once again clensed the earth of those unholy sinners. He has, with his Glock-17 in one hand, and his scythe in the other, killed off the weebs and simps. God bless our savior
So glad this got recommended again. Moments like this make me respect and love Schlatt even mire than before. Man isnt scared of getting rid of people. He is making his own comunity with his own fans and honestly its amazing
In this entertainment community, where the watchers themselves are the most problematic; its up to content creators like Schlatt - brave enough and determined enough - to call out and “cancel” the watchers who thought they were safe behind a screen. These people are insane and treat the entire internet (a giant platform where understanding and cooperation are key to a mindset that enables amazing entertainment) like they have control over it as if it’s their personal internet. They try to push their personal wants onto content - and people; which is absolutely not okay: these are living people, who you do not know personally and who came here to achieve *their* goals and not yours. Jokes aside, being a DSMP fan isn’t bad inherently; it’s the fact that it has attracted people under the stereotype of toxic watchers; the people who see it as a life style and become the antagonists stated above, this type of fan can be inferred if they’re giving much more attention and lifestyle than the average fan to the DSMP ( the saying is no longer a red flag, it’s a lemanburg flag lmao). So, despite the jokes and the “it’s so un-fair”s, Schlatt it hugely justified in the purges; this isn’t a challenge to the watchers, it’s not some grab for attention, it’s the best option for cleaning up his reach on the platform. Knock knock
2:06 These fools played themselves, don't give the man who banned over a thousand members your account name and show him the smp he hates... Well done, well done.
I don't think Schlatt genuinely hates Minecraft or the dream SMP, he was a big part of it and is friends with a lot of people there and often plays Minecraft with them. The real problem is, if you read the usernames of everyone in the first purge they all had stuff like "Georgenotfound piss kink" which is just disturbing
I understand Shlatts pain in seeing all those L’Manburg flags, but as a person who is very interested in flags, it is a pretty well designed flag, although one main thing about it is that I have yet to get the meaning of the design. Flags are supposed to have a meaning, not just look nice If anyone knows the meaning of the parts of the flag, please let me know, that would clear up some things for me
yeah, as another vexillology nerd i will say that the lmanberg flag does look well-designed from an aesthetic standpoint; arguably more so than many actual national flags. part of me wants to think that the colours do have meaning outside of just looking nice together, but i dont know if im just misremembering things considering that i havent been interested in the dsmp (or any mcyt stuff, for the most part) since early 2021. i definitely dont remember what the meanings were (that is, if they even existed)
Hoping that this isn't a trap like Schlatt's form submissions lmao, I had to scroll through their god forsaken wiki "The blue stripe stands for freedom and liberty. The white stripe stands for peace. The red stripe commemorates the blood that was spilled while fighting for their independence. The yellow and black accents are to denote the walls of L'Manberg. The three crosses were taken from Amsterdam's flag for Fundy, the only Dutch resident of L'Manberg, and the first L'Manbergian by birth." Idk much about vexillology but I do think it's a fairly nice looking flag ngl
@@skele_vision oh so they do have a meaning… interesting It’s a simple flag design wise, most everything has a meaning, little more colours than really needed on a flag but it’s fine, no text, and there is no flag (that I am aware of) that can be mixed up with the L’Manburg flag That checks the 5 main rules on making a good flag Did not expect some Minecraft RU-vidrs to make such a good flag (from purely a vexillologist standpoint)
I'm kinda late but yeah the flag does have a meaning From the wiki: "The red stripe commemorates the blood that was spilled while fighting for their independence. The yellow and black accents are to denote the walls of L'Manberg. The three crosses were taken from Amsterdam's flag for Fundy, the only Dutch resident of L'Manberg, and the first L'Manbergian by birth" And from the other wiki: "A horizontal tricolour with a yellow arch filled with black and 3 crosses in the style of the Amsterdam flag (1 yellow and 2 red). The blue stands for freedom. The red stands for the fighting and the blood spilled for the country. The White stands for peace. The yellow and black to denote the "wall". The yellow cross stands for the first born citizen." I think the meaning of the blue and red colors was altered after some event but I'm not entirely sure
when the initial video was playing, it was so funny seeing people in the chat being like "ME, I HAVE A LMANBURG FLAG IN MY ROOM!!" they couldn't know what was about to hit them
@@Howzieky This might be a hot take but I think techno's fanbase also got ruined. He did have a pretty toxic fanbase already because of minecraft kids but it just got worse when he joined the dream smp and it sucks because I do like his content. Also I never knew how Schlatt joined dream smp, he's friends with people like the goons and the misfits and I thought dream's audience were always kids. If him joining opened the doors for those people, dream stans would start a civil war.
