@baronmeduse polls mean nothing and when NY judges claim their "hands are tied" when deciding *NO* bail for alleged violent criminals, instead, jail a former President for disobeying "potentially unconstitutional" court orders (not laws); it makes a very strong case in Trumps favor for political persecution. Yes. Because Trump hasn't grown absolutely numb to threats that never, ever manifest into actual consequences. I don't think Trump is particularly intelligent, but, if pressed, I would have to admit that he is probably as intelligent as the average pigeon. This means, of course, that even he can figure out the pattern: warnings = nothing.

It is just been my experience having served on both a state criminal and a federal civil jury that the better educated jurist is far better at thinking critically about the evidence presented and are less likely to see either the prosecution or the defense as infallible. We have a very large segment of our population that is just follow the leader and they usually aren't as well educated. I don't know if that's a statistic but it certainly has been my experience in the Jury Room.
