Why allow this murderer to live out his life when he clearly did not have that mercy on his victim ? This is Evil ! Give him the death sentence and carry it out swiftly !

I think it was racist of him to say "all lives matter", clearly we know that white lives have a greater value than black lives that's the whole point of the BLM movement, to show that society deems the worth of blacks lower than that of whites and if you treat people like animals guess what? I agree. We need the death penalty more. To those bleeding hearts out there who say the death penalty doesn't deter crime, let me ask you one question: Have you EVER seen a repeat offender after they received the death penalty?
What if an innocent person is executed? Can't bring them back. The presence of the death penalty hasn't reduced America's high crime rate has it? If you're so keen on the death penalty you're no doubt prepared to execute a member of your own family if they were convicted of a capital crime? Most civilised countries have abolished the death penalty.
@@geoffpoole483 Most civilized countries? That's open for discussion. Most Muslim countries think THEY'RE civilized. However, to address your first part, it IS unfortunate that sometimes an innocent person is executed. Even if they are falsely convicted and put in prison without being executed it is still unfortunate. But think about the opposite. Look at how many murderers are set free only to commit even more murders. There's a lot. Think of all the lives that would have been saved if the death penalty was carried out the first time they committed murder. To use your illustration, how would YOU feel if a close family member or friend were murdered? Then the murderer were set free on some technicality, or paroled?

@James Dogwalker You can use those words, but remember, 'blacks' and 'Muslims' are all-inclusive words, meaning whatever you're about to say about either group will have to apply to every last member of that group, and unless you're going to say 'all Muslims believe Mohamed is their prophet', and I can't even think of single statement that might apply to ALL black people, you're likely to say something genuinely racist. The problem doesn't lie with those who call you racist, it lies with the words YOU choose, which may in fact, be legitimately racist.

The more overlapping penalties the better in case any charges are overturned on appeal or if his life without parole sentence is commuted to life with parole.
@@charlesvan13 I know a gang member who killed a cop in Oceanside California when he was around 16. He was given life without the possibility of parole, and tried as an adult. However in 2010, (maybe before 2010), his case was being appealed because he was under 18 at the time of the offense. I think it had something to do with the state supreme court ruling that children couldn't be given life without the possibility of parole, or something to that effect. I lost touch with him and didn't follow his case but many times this type of thing happens where a person could be given a revised sentence due to state or federal supreme court rulings, or various law changes, or even cases where inmates are granted pardons. It's rare, but can happen. Also keep in mind many people who are given life sentences with the possibility of parole never get out. If family members of the victim(s) show up and give impact statements the defendant has a major long shot at being granted parole. It happens but not that commonly. Life sentences often are life sentences. One thing I have seen judges do is given multiple 100+ year sentences, so unless they are pardoned they will never be released. It is a more effective sentence in many states to keep people locked up forever.
If my son did what he did I would be in the court room to take the shame as his mother, to offer the victim's family all support possible and ask the judge to sentence me, too.
