The Michigan Supreme Court just issued a ruling that says Chief Judge Sylvia James of Inkster's 22 nd District Court will be removed from the bench for the remainder of her term.
This is not justice. She and them are above the law and it shows. How is this justice. This is a sham. She should be in jail as she has put thousands of people. That would happen to us for lesser offences..
At John Nichols...you don't understand the protocol that a judge holds.. judge James was only operating out of what her job description told her she could do...how is it a crime when the court of tenure allow her and any other judge to make sound decisions concerning tenure...I don't understand your your point..
Yes, the whole system is a scam, a revenue enhancement scheme. A ticket or citation is simply another tax. They can call if fees, administrative fees, charges, surcharges or anything else. If it is paid to the corporations known as government, then it is a tax, plain and simple.

at Charles Carter...let me help u...the court of tenure allow any jui to make sound decisions concerning tenure...money can be used for different things... remember in the USA a judge is a Brand they can sit money aside for different reasons...and it is legal.. when the judge took the job that was in the job description...as chief justice it Wii be in the public best interest to allocate funds at his or hers discretion...it was not illegal...if it was bill legal the judge would not have never use that option...

IN MY VIEW I cannot wrap my head around a person doing all the HARD WORK necessary to finally get up to their title of Judge and they end up throwing it all away for self-justifiable reasons.

And what was the punishment? You're fired 6 months early on her term and that’s it? No jail, no criminal prosecution, what would the average citizen have gotten? Do judges fall under SOVEREIGN privilege like cops, getting Implied Immunity too? As long has she claims not to know the laws she is excused?
I wish questionable decisions were enough to have a judge removed here in Massachusetts. We have a judge in Salem District Court that let a heroin trafficker plea out to lesser charges and sentenced him to probation to avoid ice proceedings for the defendant. The judge's reasoning because he was only selling heroin to feed his family.

Why does it take so long to get rid of crooked judges? Why, why, why isn't there justice for all? Will she have to repay all the misappropriated money? Probably not, a slap on the wrist doesn't stop crooks.

Another one on paid vacation. Once she was pulled from the bench, he paid vacation stopped but is she refunded her paid vacation? She was unfit to judge before she went on paid vacation, why should she be rewarded with paid vacation. Once a non-guilty citizen is release from unlawful imprisonment, he/she is compensated. If those on paid vacation are found guilty shouldn’t the tax payers be reimbursed for the money spent on paid vacation?
Yea that is just wrong if she was found unfit by a jury of her peers ( other judges) to continue as a judge she should be unfit to be re-elected as a judge.
