You go with them to the notary public and make sure that they transfer that into their own name. If they don't technically that vehicle is still yours and you're responsible for tickets or accidents.

Title should t get transferred till the car is paid in full. When you purchase a car and have payments, you don’t get the title until the full amount is paid! I have a title from our 1999 Acura TL that we paid over time - the title says we have completed payments and the car is now ours! Never sell a car to a friend for pay,emts - it’s all or nothing - then they can have the title!
